pastry goodness!. when living in ottawa or as a visitor to the city it is absolutely a must to eat a beavertail! warm pastry smothered in your choice of chocolate, apples, sugar, reeces pieces (for asugarhigh!) or many more toppings - beavertails are delish!

my first time in canada and my family recommend this crispy, aromatic and sweet treats and i immediately fall in love with it. for first timer, i tried the classic cinnamon andsugarflavour, and boy, i'm forever hooked and i always order this flavour every chance i spot beavertails outlet.

don't judge me, i know i'm missing out but it's super good.

this is definitely a must-try if you are a tourist in canada. these tails are absolutely delicious. crispy and golden. i usually add chocolate on top or powderedsugarand they are absolutely divine. yummy...

the famous beaver tails of ottawa had them on a rainy day seemed a little soggy i didnt feel it was fresh snd it wasnt even warm and not crispy like they should be i asked the cashier about the best flavors and she said the cinamon andsugarand the flavor of maple syrup which was way to sweet for my tasting but glad i tried them at least i know now how much over rated they are!

if you’re ever a tourist to ottawa/canada this is a must try. they are absolutely delicious. my favourite flavour is definitely thesugarcinnamon and lemon, i really need to try all one day

the cinnamonsugarwith lemon beavertail is a little piece of heaven in my opinion. don't let a cold ottawa winter pass without stopping in.

beavertails is now one of the key things that reminds me of ottawa. fried dough with your selection of topping is served warm for you. high calories equals to high serotonin here :) chocolatey ones were heavy for me thus my fav was always cinnamon,sugarand lemon

my nieces & i had beaver tails after a skate on the canal. the cinnamonsugar& the "nutella" choices were warm and lip smackin' good.

one of the top things to do when visiting ottawa is have a beavertail . the best location to pick up a beavertail is with your skaes in the winter after going for for the first half of your trek on the  rideau canal skateway .  but, this being only november and the canal not being frozen, i decided to head to an alternative location.  when not available on the rideau canal , the second best location for a beavertail is the regular beavertail counter at the corner of william & george streets in the byward market  ( 69 george street, ottawa ).  today i visited said counter, and got in line. after waiting in line for less than three minutes, i placed my order. the order : 1 cinnamon andsugarbeavertail. after leaving $3.75 with the cash and obtaining my beavertail covered in cinnamon andsugari ventured out for a walk in the market.  beavertails counter at william & george streets what is a beavertail  a beavertail is a pastry that is deep fried and then topped the way you like it.  var

classic. for me, nothing will ever be as good as the original. mm, fried battery goodness withsugarand a hint of lemon. :) worth the trip downtown in the middle of a cold ottawa winter.

try the killaloe sunrise!. i love this place, especially during winterlude!! it's in a terrific location, has great speed and the food is delicious! my husband tends to order sweeter beavertails (ones with peanut butter, candies and hazelnut) but i prefer to stick to my roots and order a simple cinnamon,sugarand lemon juice pastry. i have zero complaints about this location. quick, friendly service and yummy treats=two thumbs up!
