a classic. no matter what time of year, beaver tail's are amazing. trying to explain to someone who doesn't know what it is is basically impossible because there's no way to describe them accurately; just believe me when i say: it's doughy, sugary, cinnamoney goodness that you must try. there's a reason it's been acanadianclassic for years (:

there is nothing more comforting than the taste of the classiccanadiantreat - the beaver tail. thin crispy fried dough topped with your choice of toppings. i opted for the apple-cinnamon beaver tail. soft tender pieces of apples smothered in a gooey caramel-apple sauce dusted with cinnamon-sugar. simply delicious!  #beavertails

this was one of the must trycanadianthings on the internet, so had to try. it was filling and a little too much sugary for me..it would've been perfect if it just had some sprinkled cinnamon sugar.. it tastes like a flattened donut of sorts.not bad.

never a bad choice with beavertails. truly acanadianclassic. kilealoe sunrise is my personal favourite. will definitely have a few more before my time in ottawa is done.
