a classic. no matter what time of year, beaver tail's are amazing. trying to explain to someone who doesn't know what it is is basically impossible because there's no way to describe them accurately; just believe me when i say: it's doughy, sugary, cinnamoney goodness that you must try. there's a reason it's been a canadian classic for years (:

pastry goodness!. when living in ottawa or as a visitor to the city it is absolutely a must to eat a beavertail! warm pastry smothered in your choice of chocolate, apples, sugar, reeces pieces (for a sugar high!) or many more toppings - beavertails are delish!

there is nothing more comforting than the taste of the classic canadian treat - the beaver tail. thin crispy fried dough topped with your choice of toppings. i opted for the apple-cinnamon beaver tail. soft tender pieces of apples smothered in a gooey caramel-apple sauce dusted with cinnamon-sugar. simply delicious!  #beavertails

amazing!!. i have heard that you can't leave ottawa without having a beavertail. i certainly agree with that statement! the beavertail was amazing! i got the one with the maple butter and the chocolate sauce, absolutely wonderful! it was sweet and savoury, probably one of the best desserts i have ever had. the service was excellent as well, very friendly despite how busy it was. the location is phenomenal, right in the heart of the market. would certainly go back, and would highly recommend you all visit!

this was one of the must try canadian things on the internet, so had to try. it was filling and a little too much sugary for me..it would've been perfect if it just had some sprinkled cinnamon sugar.. it tastes like a flattened donut of sorts.not bad.

my first time in canada and my family recommend this crispy, aromatic and sweet treats and i immediately fall in love with it. for first timer, i tried the classic cinnamon and sugar flavour, and boy, i'm forever hooked and i always order this flavour every chance i spot beavertails outlet.

don't judge me, i know i'm missing out but it's super good.

first time in canada! having desserts in a highly spoken place such as this is amazing. i had avalanche and it was mind blowing, though i found it to be on a more sweeter side but i guess that's how it goes in canada. sooner, i'll try some other probably an apple cinnamon and then i might give a 5 rating.

so, in summary, very sweet but delicious. good location. fast service. economical.

this is definitely a must-try if you are a tourist in canada. these tails are absolutely delicious. crispy and golden. i usually add chocolate on top or powdered sugar and they are absolutely divine. yummy...

the famous beaver tails of ottawa had them on a rainy day seemed a little soggy i didnt feel it was fresh snd it wasnt even warm and not crispy like they should be i asked the cashier about the best flavors and she said the cinamon and sugar and the flavor of maple syrup which was way to sweet for my tasting but glad i tried them at least i know now how much over rated they are!

if you’re ever a tourist to ottawa/canada this is a must try. they are absolutely delicious. my favourite flavour is definitely the sugar cinnamon and lemon, i really need to try all one day
