bad. go for theatmosphereonly! bad service, bad food, bad management, bad....bad.... bad. two hours to get fried shrimp and salads. i also dont know how you could screw up a hamburger.

horrible service, high prices, good food, great atmosphere. my wife and i came in on our boat and sat down at the deck bar. for 20 minutes it was as if we were invisible. wait staff came past us over and over without even acknowledging us. finally i walked to the bar and begged the bartender for some (very expensive) drinks. she acted like she was doing me a big favor to serve me. ordered some appetizers which were pretty good. the tropicalatmosphereand potential for some great sunsets cannot be overlooked. boat up restaurant options in st. augustine are few unfortunately. this one has a lot of potential though. aunt kate's is currently a much better choice.

love the food, the drinks, theatmosphereand the view....but robert the waiter makes you feel like you've known him all your life! he makes your dining experience fun and he's extremely efficient and professional! thank you robert!

good enough!. i've been here multiple times now. goodatmosphere(although the music can be a little loud on the weekends). best thing on the menu: fried fish sandwich, and i'd stick to the sandwiches for the most part. crab cakes were pretty awful (small with barely any crab). the service has always been great, though!

greatatmospheregood food good service. indoor, outdoor, and beach seating. big selection of things to order. we will definitely be back on our next trip.

menu items sounded great but food quality was poor. out of the 12 people in my group only 2 or 3 were happy with their food.atmosphereand drinks were great!

good times at beaches. it's always a mini vacation when you go to beaches on vilano. besides being under new management with great food and an awesomeatmospherethe outside bar and bartenders put on a show of their own. it's high energy, fun and always the unexpected from the male duo "hirshey and captain america". if you have never been, go check it out. if you are a local/regular, i will see you there! :-)

one of my favorites! fresh new seafood everyday, great drinks and good service. you can't beat it! such a greatatmospherewhether you're inside watching football, or outside enjoying the beautiful sunsets over intracoastal. you can't beat them!

the tattoo waitress. we heard about a restaurant by the name of beaches, and decided to give it a try. while entering the door a hostess sat the party ahead of us, and before she could even return, our soon to be waitress(haley) sat my party at table on the beach. the location was superb, the prices were a touch high, the food was great, but the service was out of this world. we tend to frequently eat out alot, and i have never had such good service from a waitress or a waiter, such as haley gave my party. the only thing that stood out more then her tattoos was her personality and attentiveness to our needs. i would definitely recommend this restaurant, not only because of theatmosphereand the food, but the service makes the trip well worth it.

great managment & service. what a great way to start my weekend! my husband and i visit many restaurants in st. augustine and this was by far in my top 3! to me, its all about the management. as we were eating our meal, ( that we received within 15 minutes, and it was great) i asked to speak with management, ( amie ) greeted us. she was very polite, and always kept a smile.she procceded to ask me how i was and if everything was okay. i only wanted to let her know that our meals were great, and as soon as i walked into that restaurant, it felt like a very relaxing and hospitable environment. the service was excellent and the food even better. i don't see how someone could not fall in love with anatmospherelike this. i will be returning, maybe with some of the girls next time:)

felt like jamaica. my husband, my sister, & i went to beaches on st. patrick's day. it was very crowded. we were reluctant to go due to the bad reviews. we were pleasantly surprised. the service & food was fantastic, as was theatmospherewith the live band on the beach & the waterfront view. our waiter, robert, was top notch. we will definitely return. we've been to almost every restaurant in st. augustine & would rank this among the top. (our little dog ralph enjoyed it too).

not so happy. yes, my jerk wings were good, the music andatmospherewas nice but that's it! service is terrible, food is pricey and other then the wings nothing special about the menu (no fresh local seafood) why not? love the location but please fix the things i mentioned.

fun place with great atmosphere. went this past weekend and had a great time. good food and theatmospherewas great. i don't agree with the sports bar comparisons. nice patio with live music and great view. will definitely be back.
