service was bit slow. starters quantity and taste was good. main course weorderedlasagna and ravioli. quantity was less and taste was average

it's a small place easily accessible and has a nice cosy ambience. the spread of food is not extravagant but whatever weorderedwas pretty good. the portion size is less for the price though. the flavours of pesto ravioli and thai curry were very authentic. paneer lababdar was one of the best paneer preparations we've had offlate. loved the blueberry cheesecake. would recommend this place for a quiet lunch with great food and company of friends / family.

we went on a weekend and the place wasn't much crowded , the ambience is good . but the prep and service is very very slow . weorderedjust two dishes and it took more than 45 mins for it be served . even on constant reminders, the service was damn slow . taste of the food is good but the service is pathetic .

i went out with my family after ages and basil bistro was our best choice in hsr! weorderedcilantro chicken, fish fingers for starters. it was 8 pieces each and the taste was fantastic! for main course, weorderedmutton rara and phulka. i'm not a big fan of mutton , but this mutton curry was yummmm! softest phulkas with hot mutton curry! the quality of the rice in the biryani was delicate and yum too! their blue berry cheese cake is to die for and sizzling brownie is awesome. the brownie was so soft and almost melted in our mouths. the ambience and staff our great. special thanks and cheers to abhishek. abhishek hosted us with great interest. he made us feel welcomed and advised us on the menu. his service was impeccable. very courteous and gentleman like. will surely visit again.

food is not tastyorderedpizza, pasta and lasagne. pizza and lasagne was very bad taste. pasta was ok. only for ambience this place can be visited.

after a long time i decided to go out and boy i am happy i chose this place. nice music, superb service and delicious food. iorderedthree dishes and all of them were good!

i and my wife,orderedgunpowder calamari and prawns as a starter, a meat overload pizza and a chicken steak as the main course. the calamari and prawn dish as well as the pizza was really good. now comes the problematic part. there were two big groups present apart from us. the gunpowder calamari and prawns and the pizza came pretty quickly(~10-15 mins). and then started the wait for my wife's food. after 20-30 mins of receiving the pizza, i decided to ask the server about the status of my order. to my surprise the server was slightly surprised and quickly went in the kitchen to check about the status. from what i understood, there was a goof up and our order was not being prepared in the kitchen. the waiter hastily came back and promised us that the order would be ready in 5 minutes. i was pretty sure that a steak cannot be prepared in 5 mins and i gave him the benefit of doubt by waiting patiently for another 15 mins. however, after this long wait, we started getting irritated as the two large groups were constantly getting their food on time one after the another while there was not even a hint of us receiving the food any time soon. once it was above 50 mins, i asked the server again about the status. to my surprise, the server asked me for another 10 mins. now this was getting ridiculous. to paint a better picture in words, there were 3 more couples that came after us, had their food and had already left after paying their bill, while we were still waiting for our 2nd main course. the sad part about this was that even after 10 mins, they asked us for two more minutes. it was already 5:10(we had walked in at around 3:50) and they were still asking us for more time. we eventually decided to cancel the order and asked for the bill. voila, the food finally arrived. but we were extremely annoyed by then and didn't want to wait a single second. we didn't have the dish, paid the bill and left.
sad part in all of this, we really liked the food and were eagerly waiting for the steak.
few things to the restaurant : i understand, mistakes do happen. however, if the steak was not started and missed out, you should have suggested something else which had lesser prep time instead of promising something impossible in 5 mins.
secondly, no matter how big the other group in the other tables are, you cannot ignore the other people in the restaurant.
giving 2 for now. if by any chance we visit again, might change to a better rating depending on the service and food at that time.

the starter and 1 main course arrived in 15 mins, the other one took 1 hr to arrive. sadly we had to cancel the last one.

it is sad that the food tasted good but just because they were serving a large table they completely forgot to serve us.

i went for my birthday dinner, weorderedgarlic bread, pizza and peri peri chicken. the portions price and the service was good.also the location of restaurant is really good( not in a crowded locality). loved the music, the songs charm added to the quiet ambience and soulful dinner.do visit of you prefer conti oe european cuisine

it's a small joint in hsr. to be honest it's expensive if we count in the portions and taste. taste is average at best. specially iorderedsome sort of veggie loaded pizza and it was medium size average pizza and its price was 430 while in same price we get a very authentic and hugh quality pizza in joints like pasta street or chianti.

the pasta was also average with very ordinary taste. i alsoorderedmocktails. iorderedpink lemonade and virgin mary. but instead of virgin mary they served two pink lemonade and then asked me if i want a replaced virgin mary or i can continue with pink lemonade. when i asked if he could bring what iorderedhe came back after sometime and replaced one pink lemonade with virgin mojito instead of virgin mary. this time again i asked him why a different drink then he said virgin mary will take sometime hence this one. why don't they tell this beforehand and if it's not available why replace with any random drink.

at the end when the bill came i was shocked to see 10% service charge. there was no special service done. it's a small joint so apart from taking order to placing order on table there was no effort needed and also they already messed up the order.

only positive was that there was 20% zomato pro discount. but to be honest the amount i paid after getting zomato discount was also something which i wouldn't pay for such taste quality nd service. all and all we were not satisfied with food and service which is ofcourse main thing to look in a restaurant.

i don't know how it's rated 4.5*. the rating mislead us to believe it would be a good experience. worst experience in terms of food and service in 2021 for me.

this was my 2nd visit to the place . they have wide range of options . weorderedchilli paneer sizzler and butter and pesto sauce gnocchi .
both were lip smacking dishes and the service was also amazing. this place did not fail to impress me during both my visits .

service was very poor. we were getting our orders at way longer frequencies..even though we asked to get them everything together. they took so much time even in getting a drink order (wine). food was average. we hadorderedravioli, chicken satay and chicken lasagna. ravioli was very disappointing, chicken dishes were okay. ambience was good.

the manchow soup was like manchurian gravy without the manchurian balls.
hadorderedchicken steak burger, fries and lemon soda. these were good.
