the hardens guide ranks this as the best spanish tapasplacein london. i do agree and i love this place. the only problem with thisplaceis that it can only seat around 20 people in a small room in soho, so unless you come at 5.30pm for dinner or some other obscure time when people don't usually eat, you will wait for a table for at least 1.5 hours as you cant book. but still you can order some dishes whilst you wait and stand against the wall. food is excellent and is worth the wait, when i last went there i had - pan con tomate, my favourite pimientos de padron, jamon, little chorizo and potatoe chips (see in the 1st pic), cuttlefish, octopus, baby gem salad and more chorizo and potatoes (see in the 2nd pic). this is also my favourite tapasplacein london, and the charm of the small room in soho, just adds to the whole cool vibe of the place.

it’s a must visitplaceif you are in london. i visited thisplacequite often when i was in london. sea food is the best out here. spanish food is also great. many people return because there’s a long queue but the food is worth the wait.

barrafina is such a popular name here in london for spanish food that they’ve needed to open several places to handle the demand. despite this, they still turn away so many people as they’re always so full. we have a hugeplacein our hearts - and stomachs - for spanish food and regularly visit spain in our travels. the food is certainly a major drawcard. this barrafina also has one michelin star - quite an achievement for such a casualplacewhere almost all the seating is at the counter and your food is mostly cooked in front of you. it’s almost dinner and a show, watching it all unfold!

me and my husband are big fans of tapas because of our frequent visits to barcelona. we loved the taste here even though it was as good as what you get in barcelona. also i think thisplaceis way too expensive( i can imagine because it’s london!!) however, i can eat 3 meals with the same price in barcelona.

awesomeplacefor tapas!! i had a solo dinner there, the line was long but perfectly orchestrated so that you can enjoy wine and apps comfortably along the perimeter of the restaurant (while you creep on dishes and pick out what you want!). get the octopus! the pan con tomate and bomba were also good

now i realised that why thisplaceis called wowplaceafter going there i found out why... everything is fabulous in restaurant from menu to service . ambiance of theplaceis mesmerized..

barrafina- a very very niceplaceto have food. first of all the locality was awesome.
the service they have is quiet fab bcoz it was very rapid and the waiters were also sophisticatedly talking. i loved the food they served . i ordered some sea food and spanish tapas and it was just mindblowing the taste was awesome indeed i must say .
i think that it is a perfectplaceto spend your good tym and a good eve here ❤️❤️

aplacefor a really great and fresh sea food. the ambience is great, we ordered octopus and some tortillas and both of the things were good. i really enjoyed the quality of service provided by staff.

visit thisplacefor authentic and fabulous spanish food, in the heart of london!

the seating is quite thin and you must make it to the restaurant by 5:30/6pm to be able to grab the seats on the slim table across the live kitchen... and in case you are lucky, you may be dining with one of the celebrities (often found at this place).

mouthwatering and ultra delicious delicacies are served here ... the chef is quite helpful in guiding you through the menu and then cooking it live in front of the patrons ... they help you align the food with the best suited wines... we ended up gulping bottles of wine which was well paired with the ordered meats!

you will love the marinated olives, chicken thigh with romesco sauce, octopus with capers, green saladnd grilled quail...

lovely staff, friendly hospitality and the serving time is reasonable too... it gets very very busy here around the dinner time!

a minimum wait of 45 minutes to get a table inside pretty much sums up how in demand thisplaceis.

this tapas bar offers a great vibe, especially inside. i would recommend it for dates or for a maximum number of 4 people, otherwise you would be waiting too long.

most importantly the food is great... and the service is also great. we ordered too much food so i wont list all of them, but you can check out the pictures.

i would recommend the ham croquettes, they are incredible.

go to this place, but go early... there is no waiting list, you have to stay in the queue!

barrafina offers the best tapas you can find, outside of spain, hands down!
with seating in the form of a bar all around the spot where your dishes are prepared, right in front of you, and the staff shouting orders to each other in spanish it is almost as if you suddenly left london behind and are now seated at a tapas bar in spain having the most succulent meats, tasty seafood together with a glass of amazing spanish wine.
theplaceis rather small, but that is half the charm!

great service, fantastic food.placeis very small but managed really well.

had to wait for approx. 15 mins before we got seats at the bar but were offered the wine list and managed to have a glass of wine before seating. definitely going back!
