i'm out of town for one week, and a great new restaurant opens up! that's one of the things that i love aboutsandiego; there's always something new opening up. a new park, a new restaurant, new wine bar.  when i saw the buzz about a new restaurant, barleymash and ginger, i was immediately intrigued by the name. just what sort of a place was this? after drooling over their menu online, i was determined to find out. and believe me, it was as good as i had thought!

best place we visited while insandiego for 5 days..... came for the food, stayed because of the beer.....heard good things about this place and we were not disappointed.
arrived during a busy time and was able to get seated at the bar immediately. our bartender, scottish bloke, was great.

our first time having greenflash brewing west coast ipa, on draft, and it was a great beer to go along with our food.
we ordered the all in iron fries, tuna poke, and their wings. all was good.

we highly recommend this place.
