sports bar with a twist. we stopped in after a long day of golf to catch the end of the braves - dodgers game 2 nlds. the start was perfect: my date had a petron margarita that was divine. i had two fingers of anejo sipping tequila on rock. yes, one perfect, large cube of solid ice.
i chose two small plates instead of an entree, thinking i'd eat light. not with these portions!
first, the citrus vodka ceviche. prepared with grouper this night, it comes with a bed of diced onions and green peppers, a scoop of house made guacamole on top, and spiced flat bread crackers. spice at every level made for a mouthwatering start.
my date had the barley pretzels with poblano beer cheddar sauce and porter stone ground mustard.
my five chili chili was made with ground turkey and topped with meltedcheeseand sour cream on top and was quite good.
my date's bbq chicken salad was also a big hit, with highlights of fresh roasted corn ands tobacco onion ring.
