ballaro - conrad dubai

we had a bad experience with ifthar buffet. quality of the food was very bad andservicewas slow and below average.

went to ballaro for a friday brunch with about 10other girls. we had a great time there. it's definitely very nice and sophisticated brunch. they have live music, good selection of food, but it was not very big, greatserviceand good price. it's only 295aed per person for a soft drink package and 395aed for the alcoholic package. they had lovely drinks in a whole pineapple. we really enjoyed the seafood there as it was special seafood brunch, they had fresh lobsters, sashimi, oysters and variety of fresh cooked fish. as well as the indian and bbq section outside. the restaurant is right next to puro beach, so you can go there for an after party( if it's not too hot), where they play great house music and have cabanas by the pool. definitely suggest going there, good value for the food and money.

extremely disappointing iftar.
the food was below average and theservicewas poor. to top of the experience, the a/c wasn’t working.

i was there for brunch many times and kept coming back. whenever i think of brunch i will think of ballaro, i know the staff and they treated us very well as they recognized their regular guests. amazing selection of foods and beverages, you name it and they kept coming! thats the best part, the seafood selections are amazing, oysters, crab legs, prawns, lobsters, the alaskan king crab legs is the star of the show on the seafood bar. they have even this live grilling station. depending on the day, they have live drinks stations too. i was there winter, summer and another winter again. the only bad thing is that it gets really full even when i booked 2 weeks in advance, thats how popular they are.
the band playing in the background, subtle and we still can talk to the people around the table. defo a great place for birthday brunch with your friends, not so kids friendly though as they don't have place for them to play so it suitable for people who have grown kids who don't worry about their kids.
highly recommended, definitely have to book your table in advance and theserviceis amazing as long as you are not being an... you know..

we went here for iftar,theserviceis good and food quality. the dessert selection has to be definitely improved and offer more than turkish delights and a small pot of umali 👎🏼

we were here for the iftaar and pretty blown away by the variety.servicewas excellent and the location was good too!

the only thing i’d probably suggest is that the restaurant up the game on taste a bit- not bad but passable food and desserts were below par.

we came here for a seafood night on thursday. and the quality of the food was amazing! the salmon nigiri was fresh and it just melts in your mouth. the live cooking station was brilliant the taste was so so delicious with the right spices and sauce.

and finally i’m not sure but i think he is the manager of the restaurant his name was mark he was so so kind and humble, and theservicewas just great from mark and the other staff.

gone there in few occasions for dinner buffet.

honestly, it was pleasant experience, just food was a little bit below expectations. there wasn’t much variety and taste of food is average.
satisfaction was supported by kindness of staff, goodserviceand pleasant choice of drinks than food. dessert section was better than others, including reasonable number of sweets. however, this restaurant could be quite satisfactory dinner place for non spoiled eaters.

i bought a groupon voucher for iftar buffet and yesterday redeemed it. well.....the food was mostly indian and the public too.servicea bit slow and not helpful. in general does not worth its money. will not come again.

ballaro is an italian restaurant on the 6th floor of the conrad hotel, near the trade center on sheikh zayed road. if you’re staying at the hotel, it’s where you’ll start your day, over breakfast. and that literally by default means…buffet. as one would expect from a venue at the conrad, quality both in terms of variety as well as content is very high. a number of live cooking stations are complemented by first classservicemaking this venue worth a visit.

excellent place to visit. love the peaceful ambience andserviceis at par excellent.
food selection is good andserviceis also warm and very professional.
only lacking the quality is the selection of sweet items and moreover there placement outside the dining area is not a good idea. they must be accommodated inside the dining lounge.

i have been there for iftar, they had a many varieties of arabic food which was good, but the quality and taste isn't great. theservicewas ok. they need to improve the quality of the ingredients. the chef did a good job with the varieties and understanding what people are looking for in a ramadan buffet, but maybe can't control the ingredient and quality.

every thing on the menu was amazing and nothing to complain about. they have a multicusine buffet and a must try for all food lovers visiting dubai. theservicecould be slightly better especially when it gets crowded.
the salads and the mediterranean spread was my personal favourite. they also have an exiting desert bar.

just avoid! complete fail!

absolute disappointment of the brunch i used to love! poor buffet options that became literally 20% of what its used to be (not that long time ago), poor and ridiculousservicewhen you wonder who is your waiter 30 mins being at the empty brunch table and then chase him every time when your glass has to be refilled. the entire restaurant was in a darkness (saving on dewa bills or what?) and zero brunch atmosphere. few tables taken on the terrace, dirty plates not taken away for hours even after guests left their tables, birds having their own party and eating off them (at least someone had fun)! buffet is not getting refilled. if that salad bowl is empty then its empty, tough luck. and on the top of all that - absolute arrogant management. they literally don't give a damn aboutserviceand their only solution to complain is to write review on ta or zomato. well, ok. something terrible happened there lately because from being one of the best brunches in town it became one of the worst. sad, never again.
