ballaro - conrad dubai

went to ballaro for a friday brunch with about 10other girls. we had a great time there. it's definitely very nice and sophisticated brunch. they have live music, good selection of food, but it was not very big, great service and good price. it's only 295aed per person for a soft drink package and 395aed for the alcoholic package. they had lovely drinks in a whole pineapple. we really enjoyed theseafoodthere as it was specialseafoodbrunch, they had fresh lobsters, sashimi, oysters and variety of fresh cooked fish. as well as the indian and bbq section outside. the restaurant is right next to puro beach, so you can go there for an after party( if it's not too hot), where they play great house music and have cabanas by the pool. definitely suggest going there, good value for the food and money.

i was there for brunch many times and kept coming back. whenever i think of brunch i will think of ballaro, i know the staff and they treated us very well as they recognized their regular guests. amazing selection of foods and beverages, you name it and they kept coming! thats the best part, theseafoodselections are amazing, oysters, crab legs, prawns, lobsters, the alaskan king crab legs is the star of the show on theseafoodbar. they have even this live grilling station. depending on the day, they have live drinks stations too. i was there winter, summer and another winter again. the only bad thing is that it gets really full even when i booked 2 weeks in advance, thats how popular they are.
the band playing in the background, subtle and we still can talk to the people around the table. defo a great place for birthday brunch with your friends, not so kids friendly though as they don't have place for them to play so it suitable for people who have grown kids who don't worry about their kids.
highly recommended, definitely have to book your table in advance and the service is amazing as long as you are not being an... you know..

we came here for aseafoodnight on thursday. and the quality of the food was amazing! the salmon nigiri was fresh and it just melts in your mouth. the live cooking station was brilliant the taste was so so delicious with the right spices and sauce.

and finally i’m not sure but i think he is the manager of the restaurant his name was mark he was so so kind and humble, and the service was just great from mark and the other staff.

my friends and i had been here for aseafooddinner buffet which we got to try thanks to #groupon.

i wouldn't say it was my most favouriteseafooddinner buffet.
since i am pregnant, i went for the non-alcoholic package and it was disappointing to note that the assorments for drinks was just poor. they just had the standard fresh fruit juices. restaurants in mall have a better selections of mocktails that this place did. the food was fair. the live station was the highlight as it was the only part i could control to my liking. the desserts was good not too much of a collection but all good.

service was good. entertainment by the pretty violinist was nice (although i admit that sometimes just the instrumental music minus the violin would have been much better)

my experience with ballarò is worth every penny! theseafoodbuffet was a 5 star presentation and taste. all crew members are very accommodating and they know how to give five star customer experience. i’d recommend this, you wouldn’t want to miss out the sushi station as it is out of this planet 🤗

i had lunch years in 2013 last time. i remember great italianseafoodand antipasti. i brought some friends yesterday night for a business dinner.

the premise here is that i'm italian, passionate about proper food and i live in dubai since 2011.

this restaurant is now an overpriced, italian sounding restaurant: short menu, not regional, overpriced wine, poor ingredient and obscene presentation.

it feels it's run by indian chefs, nothing italian anymore left in this place: avoid.

hooray its thursday! the weekend is finally here. looking for dining options tonight? if you are a true-blueseafoodfan, i would highly recommend theseafoodnight at ballaro, the italian fine-dining restaurant at conrad hotel (sheikh zayed road, dubai). the expansive buffet has you covered with all things seafood, with a wide variety of world cuisines to boot. from sushi to fish & chips, they have something here for even the most discerning diner.

i have been there for brunch and enjoyed it! extensive variety of fresh food! drinks are also very good quality! you should go if you likeseafoodcause it was prominent in the buffet! nice ambience as well.

what a disappointment!  having experienced the friday bruch several years ago i booked theseafoodbuffet for a friends birthday last night.  the dishes were emptied and not topped up, the wine was terrible, there were very few people and no ambience . all in all, won’t be going there  again.

when i first heard the friday brunch package cost i was a bit hesitant.. but i must say this place has it all! from variousseafoodto exquisite sushi, sashimi, oysters, live grill stations, etc... the variety is just fantastic! staff need to be a bit attentive and i felt they were overwhelmed and maybe understaffed.. taste needs to be worked on, seating and tables are something that the management seriously needs to look at as it mismatches the quality of food... overall a recommended place to try..

food is amazingly delicious! i have eatenseafoodin lots of restaurants in dubai but like theirseafoodi couldn't find ! good italian cuisine.. you won't have a huge quantity but they have the best quality.dana naim ism

visited for friday brunch. wonderful array of food, fantasticseafoodto start with, oysters, lobster, king prawns etc, 2 attempts at that and then a great roast beef dinner .. drink stations outside on veranda too . well recommended

nice little brunch spot in the conrad hotel. italian inspired food with great cocktails andseafoodspread. the charcuterie bar was fantastic and so were the chocked of olives! i really the enjoyed the handmade piña coladas in carved out pineapples as well as the gin and passion fruit cocktail. main course options weren't too many as expected during brunch however the food was delicious and the ambience fun.
