centrally located overlooking the mountains, with a wide range of food in the menu at reasonable rates, and realgoodquality of food. must try if you're near mg road, gangtok.

it’s located on the mall road. and packed most of the time. they have agoodcollection of confectionery items but if you are looking for a place to have a heavy lunch/ dinner this isn’t the place. it’s more of a place for coffee goers and those who have the sweet tooth. the view from the place is quitegoodthough.

such a warm and cozy place with a lovely view. we went on a cold, rainy day and that made our visit all the more special. as soon as we entered, the smell of freshly baked bread & cakes and coffee felt like a warm hug in winters. we tried quite a few cakes and pastries there, some coffee, honey lemon ginger tea, apple toddy, pasta and pork platter. the beverage part was prettygoodthough the food was quite average...but the view and the vibe compensates for it i guess. we went there twice on our 4 days long trip and would definitely love to go back.

its the cafe with a view. perfect for coffee dates withgoodfood options. the wooden interiors give a cozy cabin like ambience for winters. surprisingly the bakery options are okayish only but can be tried.

just like any other foodie bengali, search for delicious food never stops even after coming to a remote place like sikkim. food kept on disappointing from the day we landed. so, came here in zomato for "expert suggesion". well, this is one of the rare 4+ rated place in this area. i think that needs a correction. this too is an overpriced and average cafe. the portion size is a joke. like, a burrito is as big as a lollipop and the espresso is measured in a cough syrup cap. the view is nice though,goodluck with the fog. yes its "bekar cafe".

one of the best café s in gangtok. verygoodambience, moderate rates,goodquality food and awesome valleyview. it is situated at the start of m g marg, gangtok and is at the prime location. we had corn capsicum cheese sandwich, chicken and chips, garlic bread, coffee , hot chocolate and rum balls.
overall i will rate 4.5 out of 5 for this

one of the prominent cafes of mg marg of gangtok, i have been to this place a number of times. but each time i enter their door, i take a deep breath because i have to survive their overpriced mediocre food to enjoy the beautiful view and ambience of the place.

the place is genuinely beautiful. the woodwork, the non-ostentatious furniture, the trinkets, the view from the window, the soft volume at which pop songs keep playing, everything comes together to form a wonderful experience. well spaced out tables with a cake and pastry display counter in the front, you would fall in love with the ambience.

unfortunately, ambience remains the best part of the place. i have had a wide variety of experience with service including a time i waited at the table for 10 minutes during a non busy hour, but no one came to take my order. so i left. other time, the servers were polite and service was fast.

the food and drinks are overpriced. you pay a premium for the view i guess. i would not have complained if the food and drinks were good. they are mediocre. there are much better and cheaper places in gangtok ifgoodfood atgoodprice is your priority.

all in all, a beautiful place with mediocre food. try it out for yourself.

sit n relax and have the bestest cakes n muffins of the town. bakers cafe the place to be. situated at mg marg, perfect place to sit down and chill down for a coffee or more. their other side mountain scenic view is superb.good, well behaved staffs and their hospitality was just amazing. price withingoodrange and the ambience with simplicity was the best part. kudos to the management.

this is the most overrated place i have ever been to. ambience and view is good, but you can't eatgoodview!
food is pathetic. i tried burger, pasta and fries, they managed to mess up all three of them.

nice place to sit and talk. their food isgoodand coffee is nirvana.

i loved the alfredo pasta and veg burger i had here.

prices too are nominal.

go here without a thought for a coffee and tasty food.

this is a must visit place in gangtok mg road.

we just ordered irish coffee and caramel latte which were pretty decent in taste.
the best thing about the place is the wooden decor amd ambience and few seats come with a mountain view.
service is quick and staff is courteous.

this place was the highlight of my visit to gangtok. i stayed there for 3 days and made sure i visited bakers cafe on all 3 days . amazing well done up place , situated on the 1st floor but the entry is from the ground floor. got a lot of positive vibes from this place. they have a seating capacity of close to 60 people. well spaced out seating.

we ordered chicken pizza , chicken burger, pasta , french fries, muffins , coffee. everything was awesome. i dont mind flying down from mumbai once a month just to relish their variety of delicious muffins n sip on some hot coffee.

damages to the pocket - rs 940 ( approx us $ 13.20 )

overall experience - great place ,goodservice , i would rate this place 4 on 5.
