hands down one of the best freshly baked and absolutely delicious food in pondicherry.
couldn’t have left without trying their buttery and soft croissant. their eclairs are a must try!

so one of the cutest yet expensive place i have visited so far. we tried mushroomquicheand it was my first time of tryingquicheand trust me i feel in love right there with those mushroom quiche. really good. yummmicliously delicious. enjoyed. we also tried few other things but everything was slightly expensive than what we normally we pay for.

it will be good option for breakfast but we went evening time.. so, option is less only few left.. among them we ordered chicken quiche, coffee eclairs, & one more item.. & in beverage milk tea & lime- mint soda..
beverages are quite good...quicheis very good & other items are also good..

while searching for good food in pondicherry, the one place that popped up frequently was bakers street. this made me curious about this place even before reaching pondicherry.
bakers street is a small cafe located in the busy streets of the city, which serves authentic and fresh french style bakery goods 😍
as soon as u enter, the sight of freshly baked items and its aroma attracts u to just attack it. i was spoiled by choices and the clouds of dilemma surrounded me.

out of those tempting delicacies, i tried its *special apple pie (3/5)
*chicken pizza (2/5)
*banana walnut muffin (4/5)
*spinachquiche(star of my meal 😍 5/5)
*vegetable crossiant (3/5)

all the items were fresh and totally worth of every penny spent.
besides this, the cafe was beautifully decorated and had a vibrant ambience.
moreover the staff were quick and organised in their service making my visit enjoyable.
so the next time you are in pondy, spare some time to devour these delicacies and i am sure you will leave the place with a big smile and happy belly 😊

after enquiry i got to know that you can also take some of the bread items to your hometown as well which will stay fresh for abt 2-3 days

it was so disappointing when baker street took the order of mushroom eggquicheto go and not find it fresh - it seemed like thequichewas atleast 5 days old and tasted horrible - i understand that in this time restaurants dont have dine in and have limited foot rate - but serving old food that would make you wann puke was something that was unexpected.

has a lot of variety. i liked the spinachquicheand cinnamon rolls. must visit place for anyone having a sweet tooth

chickenquichewas soft and good. liked the flan, it's yummy. chicken croissant was good. variety of pastries are available here.

pita sandwich was good and filling, chickenquichegood, dessert babarhum has less flavour, can add more veg options for dessert

after reading positive reviews we went to this place for breakfast, we ordered mushroomquichechickenquicheand veg lasagna. veg lasagna was pathetic not at all eatable, after first bite we felt like puking, when we asked them to cancel the lasagna they said u ordered it so it's ur problem. highly disappointed, we wasted our 690 bucks😢

we visited this place on 2nd february 2021. this place is very famous in pondicherry for its french cuisine. the food on offer was mouth watering however the prices were steep. we ordered the ham and cheese quiche, the flan and chicken croissant. thequichewas very nice. we tried the strawberry milk shake but it was not that great. you can visit this place if you wish to try some french cuisine.

if you don't have time to visit aurovilles bread and chocolate, in town this would be your choice. we likedquicheand hot chocolate here.

we ordered mushroomquicheas there was nothing much left in the evening. but the taste was average. price is too high

i can say that i had the best food at this place during my visit to pondicherry. i can say this place got the best french breakfast you will ever have in the entire country. a must visit all of the food lovers and those who want to try or explore new cuisines.
