i didn't like or dislike it. i had the prix fixe menu. the appetizer was a mushroom and corn salad - would have beengoodbut was under seasoned and no salt was on the table to save it. the entree was a seafood stew - the broth was phenomenal tasting, but shrimp were rubbery and they were pretty chintzy on the salmon portion, all i got were crumbs of salmon. for dessert it was a homemade ice cream sandwich, which had great flavor but the cookie part was just too hard. you couldn't bite through it and cutting it with a knife resulted in it flying off the plate and onto my clothes. kinda aggravating.

i might go back if i were on business again and weren't spending my own money.

artisanal cheese plate. 4 cheeses, sliced fruit, mixed nuts, housemade fruit
compote and french baguette. not a fan of the plastic black plate it was served on, but the rest made up for it!

humboldt fog (aged goat, california)
roaring 40's blue (cow, tasmania)
délice de bourgogne (cow, france)
gran queso (aged cow, wisconsin)

a taste of everything. quaint atmosphere,goodservice. my only suggestion to the management is that they find a way to keep the curtain closed between the kitchen and dining area. otherwise we had agoodexperience.

we started with the artisanal cheese plate, a really nice variety of cheeses, fruit compote and nuts. we tried their cabernet sauvignon wine sampler, which was bridesmaid, napa valley 2006, stone edge farm, sonoma 2007, and paradigm, oakville 2005. topped off with simple entrees of pasta marinra and beef skewers. we plan to go back.
