this buffet is known as the best buffet in las vegas.

price: $55 per person ($25 extra per person if you want to jump the queue)

good: chinese food was good in quality and selection (i did not try the dim sum so i can't comment on these items but the dinner items were nice), i really liked the ginseng chicken soup, desert was really good (again the chinese stuff tasted authentic and western dishes were very sweet, but the way they are meant to taste), not much mexican items but the taco station was good, mac'n'cheese was great, crab and fresh shrimp was good, potatoes and gravy was great, roast beef and lamb very good, freshly made fruit juice, bottomless pop, adequate service.

bad: had to wait about 40 minutes to get in, wasn't able to try the dim sum or italian pasta which was a shame (too much to choose from), fries and fried chicken was cold.

summary: great selection and quality. expensive and long wait to get in.

i am writing this review to inform everyone that if you are thinking about having your special event at the bacchanal buffet do not do it. after signing a contract and believing i had the best experience of my life i was slammed 10 days later with an unknown $3,000 charge. when i tried calling the bacchanal it took them days to get back to me. they first claimed that i had a table outside of our groups private room that resulted in me having over 10 more people than i actually had and that's what the charge was for. when i asked who made the head count they admitted there was no head count taken but they counted the number of chairs that were in the room... last i checked chairs were inanimate objects that didn't eat food so i don't know why they would base my head count off of chairs and not actual people. they never sent me any kind of invoice when the charge occurred, then when i finally got a hold of someone over the phone that was actually part of bacchanal management i was told that they were willing to give me a "discount" of 3 people for the mysterious 10 people that they wrongfully charged me for. i of course did not accept. the last i heard they would be having a meeting about it and get back to me within 1-4 days. that was over 2 months ago. very disappointed with the unprofessional behavior i experienced from upper management. i even requested that video camera footage be pulled of my group walking back so a head count could be performed by their management... conveniently they delete all of their video footage every 7 days.

we went for the lunch buffet as we just walked by.  the service was good.  our server was attentive and pleasant.  plates were cleared from our table and drinks were topped up promptly. the ambiance was bright and trendy.

the food was ok and had a good selection.  the roast beef was tender and the truffled mashed potato was delicious.  these were the 2 best dishes i could remember.  desserts were ok.    it was a good price to be able to sample so many items.

considering the price i payed for the bacchanal buffet champagne brunch, i was a bit disappointed. there were a lot of luxury items on the buffet line (stone crab, large tiger shrimp, alaska king crab), and those items were great. the mexican section was horrendous, but the freshly-squeezed juices were absolutely amazing. i have not been able to find a good acerola juice outside of brasil, but the had a great one at the buffet. the desserts were amazing. if the menu is priced at the same price it was when i visited, i would not return. for the price, the bellagio or cosmopolitan are much better options.

you pay for what you get!  although this buffet is pricier then most, it is well worth it!  there is a wide selection of food stations to choose from from fresh seafood to roasts to charcuterie to asian, mexican and of course the two dessert stations.  the drinks menu was also extensive.  service is professional and discreet; there is plenty of seating available and they are very comfy too!

the very largest and the most famous buffet in caesar's palace. over 500 dishes and a huge restaurent. nearly all major cuisines and all types of proteins. the thing i likes the best were the desserts for which i will go again. everything was good but in a city where you throw a stone in your own hotel and there are ample great restaurants buffet places are not really a place to visit. but if you must nothing better then bacchanal

just going to present facts - went to the "sign in" terminal to give phone # so i'd get a text when i could get in line. declined the $25 per person charge to skip the wait because i saw, people who paid this still had to go wait in another line, but would just go in front of the general line. 2 1/2 hrs later went to check & was told to come back in 20 mins. 10 mins later, got the text so went to wait in line. 45 mins later, got to the register & paid $148 for 2 people. waited another 15 mins to be seated. waitress came by & took drink orders & we went to eat. looked like quality items on the buffet but "hot" dishes were cold or luke warm. crab cakes were dry & tasteless. prawns dried out. wagyu sliders were tasty. other items had "off" tastes. dessert flan didn't taste like custard, creme brulee was burnt. crowded so didn't try anything else. the wait staff was very attentive & refilled drinks when needed.

when you're in vegas, you can't not stop by one of their lavish buffets. voted best vegas buffet since it's opening in 2012, bacchanal buffet in caesars palace is a showstopper indeed. so after a wonderful morning at the pool, we decided to stop by for a late afternoon lunch. it's. $57 for dinner and $37 for lunch, though a dollar gets knocked off with

i went there on a wednesday night after a long day of traveling, there was a line up, the line up time from start to cashier was fourth five minutes, so the wait was ok, faster than the average one hour, non alcoholic were included, server was good at clearing tables, and refilling drinks, i plated up eight times and on the ninths time i finally got dessert, over all a very good buffet experience

i came here for the christmas holiday dinner buffet with my husband and found it way too overpriced. the price for the holiday dinner buffet was much higher than the standard $50/person.
first there was a 2-hour wait time for the dinner buffet, and because we didn't want to wait that long we paid an extra surcharge for the separate vip-ish line that was much shorter. our total came to about $200 with tax and tip.
when we got into the buffet, we were overwhelmed with all the food, but to be honest much of the food tasted only average or mediocre. maybe this was because the buffet was packed with so many people during the holiday season, but everything was just a waste of my money. nothing really stood out, many of the dishes could be found elsewhere, the food stations were relatively dirty with scrap food lying around, and overall, it was too hectic in there.
the fresh seafood station was always empty because people took way too many at one time and the chicken and waffles...everyone took the chicken but not the waffles so there were lonely waffles laying around with no chicken.
i'm not going back and i prefer wicked spoon!
