shocked. they used to be top shelf, but something has gone wrong, clamcakesuncooked in the middle, fish and chips overcooked, i do not understand but as a native ri person, going here since i was a kid, what a disappointing
shame, i can tell by the sheer number of bad reviews i am not alone, too bad so sad, learned a lesson!!!

for great new england clam chowder, ri clam chowder, clamcakesand fried clams, aunt carrie's is for you.

there can be a wait, but the good is very much worth it.

the best clamcakesand chowder in ri. you can't beat em'! i wish i could eat them all the time. this place is a must see, it's a great rhode island tradition!

soooooo disappointing. my 1st trip to aunt carrie's was and will be my last trip to aunt carrie's. had the combo clam cakes/chowder. chowder was watery thin and lacked in flavor. calmcakesshould actually be called clam fritters instead. was sooo disappointed and wasted my hard earned money. won't be returning.

it wasn't until i came to rhovde island did i find the best clamcakes. aunt carries has good sizecakesloaded with clams. they're not pasty like the ones at iggy's. the chowders have become watery over the last few years. the service is fast and the choice of eating outside, to go, or inside makes the experience that much better. the remainder of the seafood has always been very good for us. when you order at the counter you're able to watch them cook the food. if you go, don't forget to order a fresh baked cinnamon raisin bread.

the clamcakesare extremely overrated. the food was average, my fried $15 jumbo shrimp was chewy. everything else seemed a little lacking. it'll taste the same in montana.

great chowder, clamcakesare loaded with clams, fried whole clams excellent too awesome as always.
