our family's favourite chinese restaurant in hobart. this year for my partner's birthday it was as magical as ever.
the food was excellent, and the stunning pier view just adds to the experience.staffwas also friendly too. we will definitely be returing again soon!!!

i want to give this restaurant five stars because the service was probably the best out of all yum cha places in tasmania. everyone was polite, and food was delivered quickly,staffwas attentive. i wish this place success many more years to come!!

went for dinner last night. the service was lovely by thestafflast night. as for food, we had the noodles, chicken, pork and fried rice. it was scrumptious.
glad we found this palce - we'll be back!!!

my chinese friend and i came here and it was amazing! we ordered spicy chicken and seafood on friday night. the food tasted great, and thestaffwas kindly. it is worth mentioning that the soup was my fav.

we loved the restaurant and came twice on our trip. absolutely loved the service and food.staffwas really attentive, made sure we were comfortable. the food was awesome. can do big group also, top 5 for restaurants in tasmania.

we spent our new year's eve here. the pier is lively and foods at asian gourmet are delicious. even on new year eve, thestaffhere are very friendly to serve guests. highly recommended!

this is one of the best chinese restaurants in tasmania. good flavours, great ambience and great table service. the owner andstaffprovided above average service with attention to detail. the asian gourmet on the pier should be on any visitors who love chinese food.

we visited as a couple for dinner on a sunday night. truly excellent, genuine service. allstaffreally cared and were very accommodating. fairly priced and yummy food. the entree size is sufficient if you also want to fit in a couple of drinks and mains.
the perfect casual dinner in hobart. recommended.

great location, pleasant staff, nice decor, but well below average to poor food, incompetent service. dumplings were tasteless & rubbery, salt & pepper squid without pepper & oily, buddha delight vegetables ok but too much garlic. thestaffserved food to several other larger tables well before 2 of us. one dish of ours was delivered to another table, but thestaffhad no clue - even when told they had no management of what dishes were meant for what table.

had a excellent lunch here. yum cha was so delicious. thestaffwere welcoming and friendly. we were not disappointed dinning here with beautiful veiws of hobart wharf areas, friendly service and excellent food.
