great and huge place located at tilhari with comfort sitting arrangement famous for its chinese, mughlai, north indian and sizzlers.

in mocktail drinks i ordered as follows...

1) mint mojito
2) pinacolada

both the mocktails were perfectly made and was very refreshing as well as tasty.

in food i ordered....

1)mutton bhuna
2)arq special chicken biryani
3)chicken peshwari tikka.
4)jeera rice.

in desserts i ordered rajbhog kulfi that was very yummy in taste.

ambiance was awesome service wasgoodstaff were polite and very friendly neat and clean place.

arq, the courtyard boasts of a huge premise and subtle, classy interiors.
ambience is peaceful and quiet if you choose to have an indoor seating.
and, if you decide to feel the wind in the hair, their rooftoop and garden areas would not disappoint you, and so wouldn't their peppy music!

1. watermelon cooler- 4/5, pinacolada- 2.5/5, too sweet with a lot of pineapple syrup and less coconut milk. mint mojito- classic! 4/5

2. makkai paneer seekh kebab- 3/5, slightly on the sweeter side, sticky on the inside. presentation was good.

3. pudina chicken tikka- 3.5/5, chicken was seasoned well but the texture wasn't very tender.

4. masala papad- just 1 question, why the alu bhujia/sev?

5. dal makhani- 4/5, kofta curry- 4/5 (the curry had a wonderful, rich taste).

6. butter chicken- 4/5,goodquantity, chicken was cooked well...but a bit too much food coloring.

the staff was hospitable but the manager seemed a little too finicky!

so arq was somewhere i visited to dine out being a tourist to jabalpur. the food tatsed toogoodand the natural ambiance was something of a great thought.i would merely suggest everyone to specially go with the tandoori items because the tender tikaas took away my heart.about the chinese , it was much appreciable yes because i am a chinese lover and also because ut was just so perfect.
above all the sizzling brownie and the mocktails were so damngoodthat complemented perfectly to all the cuisines i tried. so i personally would rate the restaurant a great one, which i actually found out to be one of the top restros in the city to chill with you family,cousins or buddies. i was extremely impressed by the way i was treated and the ethics in the staff and above all the owner personally greeted and took a feedback which actually means a great gesture in the hospitality field.keep it up arq-a complete worth visit.

i had a very awful experience this time. i am a regular customer of arq. i got my food delivered at my place. i ordered paneer tikka masala and dal tadka for dinner. dal wasgoodat first place. but paneer tikka masala was really bad. the paneer was sour in taste... even the quantity of sabzi in the box was half of the size of the box. even this didn't bother us. unfortunately we couldn't take the pictures of the sabzi and its quantity(which was very less). i called up the restaurant and complained about the sourness of paneer. the person on the phone said they will replace it and asked us to return the previous box of sabzi. we did. then the delivery boy came back n said we have to pay for the sabzi as the left out sabzi is really less & it has only a piece of paneer left. actually we were 3 people in number to eat and the sabzi was served to 3 people. we all tasted the piece of paneer and left it due to its sourness. we didn't kept it back in the box as we have already tasted it. instead of paying, we returned the replaced box of sabzi.
the entire incident was very pathetic. and the cherry on the top was the restaurant didn't even call us again to address the issue. what was our fault? just because the sabzi left was less (which was already filled half of the size of box) and we refused to pay for the replaced sabzi ...
