wow!!! what a meal!!! from the bread served to the dessert. we were there for lunch. they got everything right. everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned. bread was served hot. tasted really fresh and delicious!!! we had oysters (waiter recommended) and blue crab bacalao ravioli for appetisers. oysters were huge and tasty. the blue crab ravioli was interesting, though i probably would have served it ahead of the oysters because the oysters had more flavour. the house salad mix was perfect. i have no idea what was in it, but everything came together perfectly. pumpkin soup was next. although it was the soup of the day, it didn't taste like it came from a big pot. it tasted like it was prepared fresh before it was served. main course time. of course i had the steak. it was more medium than medium rare, but it was really good. i didn't even bother with the sauce. just the meat with the garlic was enough to make this meat eater happy. my wife had the prawns with risotto which i tasted. i love how you can taste the freshness of the ingredients used. my daughter had a seafood pasta. i had a scallop from that, which was perfectly seasoned again. the flourless chocolate cake with cerveza negra ice cream was very interesting. not too sweet, just the way i like it. the lime panna cotta was the best i have had in my life. i can even rave about the dalandan juice without sweetener and the house blend coffee. of course the bill was a bit steep, but i didn't feel bad paying for it because aside from the good food, the service was great too.

when going to tagaytay, a lot of people if not everyone, knows the restaurant antonio's. it's one of the hyped restaurants people go to. through all the fuss that's been going around, we finally tried here.

i was actually astonished on how costly their dishes are! there's nothing special with their menu or the taste of the food, it was just plain ordinary, to the point that you can eat it in a much cheaper with almost the same taste.

awesome ambience. incredible service. scrumptious food. we were a group of 8, and had such a pleasant experience. had the house salad, soup, and the old aged rib-eye. wasn't able to take pictures of the dessert, but the favorites were the grapefruit sorbet, lime panna cotta. definitely a good place to have a romantic date! would definitely want to go back... oh so worth it! deducted.5 points because we felt the steak lacked that beefy, gamey flavor.. but really nitpicking at best.

we got the set menu for that night and shared the huge portion of steak. the steak was spectacular, the salad was refreshing and we got to pick our own desserts. i got the flourless cake while he got the soufflé. both absolutely wonderful. ❤️

i used to go to antonio’s when i was younger with my father. it’s been a while. my memories served me well; i remembered clearly how it has been .y pops & i's all-time quick gastronomic getaway. from the beginning, antonio's aim has been to provide good quality, homemade food and to create memorable experiences for guests of all ages; in a happy and cozy environment.

we always find a sense of space away from the bustling crowds of makati at antonio's. food is cooked to perfection. not-so-simple dishes that amazingly melts in your mouth, especially the cuts of meat. the so-called corned beef, which i presume is part of the cow's belly, was thickly sliced and well seasoned – paired with your choice of rice and eggs. this dish is locally made, had a great texture to it, chewy and tender, but not an obstacle. this is usually served on mornings alone; another reason why i opted to drive in the wee hours of dawn. the salad was so fresh we wouldn’t have been surprised if these has been homegrown from the garden behind the kitchen walls.

having such an extensive menu, that is being updated from time to time, it creates one (happy) problem – how to describe the food when there’s so much to describe. suffice to say that every dish was beautifully balanced, the food was cooked to perfection, the presentation was elegant and the taste combinations were highly imaginative.

this is the best dining establishment for me by far. food and service are just always awesome. the ambiance just puts you at ease that long meals are definitely the way to go.

their starter bread and salads are so good, too!

you step into antonios and you feel like you've stepped into a whole new world. arrive early enough to get a cocktail or two at the lanai garden; the outdoor bar inside the estate. my favorite - cilantro fiasco. dinner is a set menu; salad, soup, main and dessert and tea/ coffee. beautiful range of steaks, lamp cutlets and a duo of beef and lamb. crab ravioli was also a crowd favorite. can't think of any better in manila

my favorite restaurant in tagaytay and a true culinary haven. each visit never fails to give me an excellent and remarkable experience... as i never live on bread alone.

i can just have a house salad, an appetizer or cheese, a glass of wine, and i'll be perfectly happy. but the freshness of their salads has always been inviting. fresh greens (& purple), toped with walnuts, currants and cranberries, and drizzled with raspberry vinigrette and oil.

our usual set is basically the same except for the main entrée & pasta. and of course with the soup of the day... i love suprises (good suprises). the paté de foiè gras on poached pear and crostini is my favorite appetizer but oysters can be great as well, depends on the season, my mood, and if it's dinner or lunch.

their steaks are defenitely good, but their lamb ribs is great! you can never go wrong with this. just ask for mint jelly on the side and its already perfect. their desserts would defenitely complete your day! i prefer their house desserts but when you're already full, sorbet would be fine.

the clean fresh air alone separates them from the rest. you know how it is in manila. truly refreshing, & relaxing, ambiance that always make me feel at home.

antonio’s will always be my number one food restaurant in the philippines and it’s the only one i have rated a 5 star so far. tucked away in serene tagaytay, this place is pure food heaven for me. whenever my friends mention tagaytay eats i always tell them our experience at antonio’s. and i’m not the only one, they have been ranked as one of the top restaurants in asia! i will always keep coming back to antonio’s and after their full course meal, your taste buds will never taste other food the same way again.

everything was just divine. we especially loved the foie gras salad with caramelized walnuts and the bisque. the steak, however, was medium well and not medium like we asked, but it was tasty and had huge portions to the point that we were satiated 3/4 of the way. the sangria needed a bit of work, but the desserts were just magical. the service and the ambience makes it a great place for intimacy and romance, but you should be ready to shell out at least 4k per person.

you can never go wrong with antonio's. their cochinillo is a must try for large groups. it's good that reservation is needed so they can control the number of guests in the resto. they are also very flexible on their menu as they can personalize it to your liking. great service and ambience!

reservation is required. we dined here for my mom's birthday and as usual, their service is great. they will serve you complete meal already, once you have already chosen your entree. it includes: salad, soup, entree, dessert, choice of coffee or tea. food taste good although it's a little bit pricey.

my eyes light up when i hear of antonio's tagaytay, it's simple yet elegant, peaceful, cozy & just sooo perfect for romantic dates! no need for orchestra, you'll be fine with the cool breeze and exchange of sweet nothings! 😊

even if it's a long drive from the metro, i still consider it a joy traveling to this place.

highly recommended for all gatherings/ occasions too!

first of all, the antonio's menu that you see here in zomato, is the old one. they have a new one. and the new dishes are fantastic!!!!! try their tomahawk steaks (which is 15k for 3 pax), pork iberico, black tiger prawns, duo of mayura beef and lamb cutlets, herbed salad and for the love of god, do not miss their truffle baked oysters. service as usual is great. reservations though are a must. you won't regret the long and traffic road to tagaytay city.
