love it - careful on carry-out. love this place. dine-in and pizzas rock. one of my top cheap eats places in the city and service is consistently excellent.
only making this review because we ordered a few random items carry-out and they were uncharacteristically below average. couple salads and couple apps. they told us 45 minutes but the hot stuff was cold and kinda gross when we got it (garlic cheese bread and "gyro platter" which was literally gyro meat in foil and tzatziki). salads were ok though.
will stick with dine-in or pizzas if i want carry-out from now on though but still one of my favorites.
***note to the owner who responded to a review below - dude - i love your restaurant but seeing stuff like this makes me second guess my consistent recommendations to friends. the review section on urbanspoon is not a forum for you to yell at reviewers and call them wrong and it is in especially poor taste to say that the diner was "false" concerning her impression of the meal. bad experiences happen - excuses and accusations are not necessary. let the food/freshness speak for itself instead. also, it is written extremely poorly and full of errors, making it look like an angry rant. thanks

excellent pizza!. we recently moved near the hill, so i knew we had some excellent pizza in the area.
tried a few places, but anthonino's has been out favorite. simply excellent pizza, not terribly expensive.
they have some pretty wacky specialty pizzas. have had the margherita, pepperoni, regular cheese, sicilian, four cheese, chicken pesto (or something like that) and a few others.
the margherita, pepperoni, regular cheese and sicilian were excellent. the four cheese and a few of the other specialities i did not enjoy as much, but generally their pies are some of the best in the city. i think some of their speciality pies cater to specific tastes.
tons of cheese, excellent crust and sauce. in my top three pizza places in the city.
