had the pleasure of eating here with family and very close friends. absolutely fantastic, may not due the food and friendly service any justice, but its a good starting point. excellent pricing, friendly and knowledgeable service, warm and inviting atmosphere. the food is the center piece and the brick oven the mastepiece. all food is cooked to order and is just like being home and having anitaliandinner at grandma's house on sunday at 2 pm. joe, the owner, is gratious and overflowing withitalianhospitality. the food is simply prepared but ohhhh sooooo delicious. i highly recomend amalfi ristorante italiano to every one. i am larry monte of phoenix, arizona and i approve this message (and the food at amalfi's ristorante italiano.

excellent!. what a greatitalianrestaurant. we all ordered different foods and no one was disappointed. the spaghetti with meat sauce had a ton of great tasting meat. the fettuccine alfredo was creamy and delicious. the spinach ravioli was generously filled and tasty. even the bread was fresh out of the oven and they kept bringing it out. very attentive staff that kept our glasses and bread full! highly recommend. plus the prices were very good!

"real"italianfood. this restaurant can not compare to any other !! the food is delicious !! when you want a dish of homemade lasagna you must go to this place. everything taste like the traditional home cooked meal from youitalianmomma !! being from new york and here in arizona 14 plus years i finally found the bestitalianrestaurant in town !! if you have not tried amalfi's you have not tried the best ! try it you will love it !! oh and the owners and staff are very kind and personable which makes it even better !!

fantastic. these brothers know how to do a solid neighborhooditalianrestaurant. you're not going to find anything flashy here, but if you're looking for that neighborhood spot with great customer service, friendly owner, and good hearty food, this is the place. just like miele's: good food and welcoming environment. recommend the white pizza or any of the heros. they have peroni on tap, which is nice, too.

really great!. i needed to find anitalianrestaurant that i could place a large order for a dinner i was hosting in my home. it was in honor of my daughter and she only wanteditalianfood. amalfi had just opened up across the street from my neighborhood. i had never eaten there but i took a leap of faith. the owner, i think his name is joseph, took great care of me. he was friendly and acommodating. we ordered 3 entrees which comes with salad and fresh bread. i had to feed 16 people and my bill was around $175. i think that is very reasonable. and of course the food....the food was great! my family is from ny and they know gooditalianfood. i was a little nervous that they wouldn't like it..gooditalianfood is hard to find in az. but they loved it! the fresh baked bread was soooo good! we also had meatballs, baked penne and chicken parmesan. all were fabulous! my favorite though was the chicken parmesan. i would definitely go back and will refer all my friends. they haven't been advertising for some reason so i sure hope they get enough business to stay there. that location seems to be cursed as the last 2italianrestaurants that were there closed. good luck amalfi!
