had the pleasure of eating here with family and very close friends. absolutely fantastic, may not due thefoodand friendly service any justice, but its a good starting point. excellent pricing, friendly and knowledgeable service, warm and inviting atmosphere. thefoodis the center piece and the brick oven the mastepiece. allfoodis cooked to order and is just like being home and having an italian dinner at grandma's house on sunday at 2 pm. joe, the owner, is gratious and overflowing with italian hospitality. thefoodis simply prepared but ohhhh sooooo delicious. i highly recomend amalfi ristorante italiano to every one. i am larry monte of phoenix, arizona and i approve this message (and thefoodat amalfi's ristorante italiano.

"real" italian food. this restaurant can not compare to any other !! thefoodis delicious !! when you want a dish of homemade lasagna you must go to this place. everything taste like the traditional home cooked meal from you italian momma !! being from new york and here in arizona 14 plus years i finally found the best italian restaurant in town !! if you have not tried amalfi's you have not tried the best ! try it you will love it !! oh and the owners and staff are very kind and personable which makes it even better !!

fantastic. these brothers know how to do a solid neighborhood italian restaurant. you're not going to find anything flashy here, but if you're looking for that neighborhood spot with great customer service, friendly owner, and good hearty food, this is the place. just like miele's: goodfoodand welcoming environment. recommend the white pizza or any of the heros. they have peroni on tap, which is nice, too.

really great!. i needed to find an italian restaurant that i could place a large order for a dinner i was hosting in my home. it was in honor of my daughter and she only wanted italian food. amalfi had just opened up across the street from my neighborhood. i had never eaten there but i took a leap of faith. the owner, i think his name is joseph, took great care of me. he was friendly and acommodating. we ordered 3 entrees which comes with salad and fresh bread. i had to feed 16 people and my bill was around $175. i think that is very reasonable. and of course the food....thefoodwas great! my family is from ny and they know good italian food. i was a little nervous that they wouldn't like it..good italianfoodis hard to find in az. but they loved it! the fresh baked bread was soooo good! we also had meatballs, baked penne and chicken parmesan. all were fabulous! my favorite though was the chicken parmesan. i would definitely go back and will refer all my friends. they haven't been advertising for some reason so i sure hope they get enough business to stay there. that location seems to be cursed as the last 2 italian restaurants that were there closed. good luck amalfi!
