we have now been to alpine twice in the last month.
both times we have enjoyed ourselves and left feeling satisfied . i have said before that good old hospitality is important to me.
alpine does not have the best setting or decor , has clientele with noisy children but no child facility .
but at alpine you feel hosted, that your patronage is important . so you are offered tasters, a look around the butchery and a sense of humility, with their product and offering .the staff engage with you.
patrons are regular, cosmopolitan and interactive.
my dad being from eritrea, we enjoy the abyssinian addition to the menu.
the prices are very reasonable, portions substantial and the quality of meat we had very good!
i also enjoyed the variety of side dishes as well... bone marrow, broccoli with gorgonzola etc
