amazing!. my brother and i were in town to golf the local area...chattanooga was equidistant from our homes in illinois and florida. we are fortunate to travel often and search for locally owned restaurants. having left a previously recommended restaurant prior to being seated, we happened upon alleia by accident. the decor is stunning with multiple seating options. without being overbearing, the wait-staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the ingredients and preparation of the widely varied menu. the food was awesome. our favorites were the flat bread with taleggio cheese and black truffles, the grilled romaine salad, the wood-fired pork shoulder in a balsamic reduction, and the carolina trout. given the ambiance, quality of the food and excellent service, the price was reasonable and warranted a generous gratuity. fortunately we found the restaurant early in our trip which ensured a return the last night we were there.
