thisplaceserves top of the line mediterranean buffet. although on the expensive side for a buffet, the food tastes really good.. falafels and hummus are pretty good quality.

we went here for dinner.
we ordered mediterranean salad, chicken and lamb kabab ...
everything tasted great and was up to the mark and as requested.
ambience and service was good and we had a great time...
would recommend anyone to visit thisplace.

horrible service. went there today we had 5 people and they wanted toplaceus in a booth with a an additional chair. i asked if we could get a table the guy at the front i guess the owner said no they did not have any. this was 11:15 and only one table had two people sitting at it. all the others were open. so i got a refund on my meal and we left. there are normally 6-9 of us that go out here once a week we will not be back horrible service.

horrible service...dine in or to go there aren't a lot of places that can screw up service both at the restaurant or taking it to go, but i guess thisplaceis special that way. i wouldn't recommend thisplaceunless you don't have another option.

best entire meal - thisplacehas "got it". during a recent visit to richardson (for work), my co-worker and i stumbled upon this gem! this had to be the best entire meal i've had in a long time... from the mazza plate - finest hummus and baba ganoush i've had; real grape leaves (didn't seem from a can) for the dolmas, truly fresh tabouleh full lof parsley. we also tried the kibbeh, fabulous! garlic chicken - melts in your mouth and the garlic sauce on the side...mmmmm! the gyro, the pita bread, absolutely everything was so good that i'm considering a drive into richardson (from austin) at least monthly! i wonder if they will let me train in the kitchen?!

remember old/new?. oldplacesmall, busy, cramped...but good food.
hoping new location ...and meet old standard.

lunch at ali baba = packed house, buffet, amazing!!!!

warning! when u eat here once u will love it, which is good. but in 3 days u will be feening for thisplaceand your hunger will force u to go back. it will definately become a weekly destination. >dc

one of our faves. i can't imagine why people on here seem to dislike this place--the food is fantastic, the service is great, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere...what's not to love? we get take out from ali baba a couple of times a month, and other than a couple of minor incidents when this location very first opened, we've never had a bad experience. here are some of our favorite items: the mazza plate (great hummus and dolmas), foul modamas (fava beans with lemon and garlic), chicken curry, the gyros plate...and my personal #1, the baked kibbi (i ask for a side of lebneh instead of the cucumber sauce that is now included with this item--delicious!). anyway, this is definitely aplacethat deserves a second chance!

give it time, it is awesome. i noticed that ali baba was a least favorite this month. please remember people that when aplacethat has had ten tables for the last 19 years moves into a large space, it will have to work out some kinks. ali baba has a great recipe for success, its being overseen by its original owners and deserves your support. there food and servcie are great, if you had one bad experience doesn't mean you shouldn't give them another shot. i have loved thisplacesince it opened.
