easily among the best new watering holes in chennai...location is central and once you get inside, there is an immediate impression of an upper end pub/ bar...the waiters are extremely good but the only thing that could have been better was the time taken to serve the eats. one of of the few places in chennai where you get decent drought beer and pricing is about tolerable 😝. i would certainly go back again...well done alchemy, you did surprise me pleasantly 👍🏼

the place has good ambience. but it utterly falls flat when it comes to being a vibrant bar. the food is below par. the con pollo pizza was peppered worh black pepper. their beer pitcher option is also limited. as someone who relies om zomato ratings, it beats me how this place got 4.7

very good bar rocking in this area , i am from porur but wanted these kind of bars in porur too . sure service sure staff and tasty starters

i had a great time here. a very nicely done place, courteous staff, good food and good music (special mention for dj jessy). there are tv screens, some of them screen the sports matches (when i went there was a pl match on). special mention for loaded fries and tandoori chilli chicken!

i totally enjoyed my time here. after so long i found a place worthy of 5 stars.

amazing ambience and thanks to dj jessy for making the music feel alive.

the food here is yum 😋. not sure about the cocktails (bcoz we did not order any) but starters were sooo tasty especially the tandoori chilly chicken. and their loaded fries is a must try - the best fries that i had recently. the service takes a little time though - around 30-45 mins of solid waiting. not that i mind. becoz the wait was worth it.

alchemy bar and lounge is clearly one of the best party place in chennai.
it is situated in the basement of hotel raj park, alwarpet.
i loved each and everything here.
the interiors are elegant.
decor is perfect.
service is top notch.
everything here inside is just so amazing.
when you come to the food their tandoori chilli chicken is one of the best.
i had a lot of things including cheesy fries, beef, fish fingers, bacon wrapped prawns, chicken malai tikka, blueberry cheesecake and chocolate brownie with ice cream.
everything was really amazing.
i loved it.
the staff working is so much understanding and cooperative.
they’ve the best service in town.
do not miss out on this one.

best lounge bar with dj music. various kinda drinks available. i crave for draught beers and i found one over here. cozy a bit but worthy..!

undoubtedly one of the best places to hangout with friends. great and cozy ambience. they got some of the good choices of cocktails. foooood is definitely splendid... right from cocktails, starters to desserts....great taste and the way they present it is quite appealing. 

the only thing that felt disappointed was with the service, they were too slow in attending customers. though whatever was ordered had great savor but food was not served hot, it was not even warm. 

non vegetarians must try peri peri chicken and masala fried fish. 

apart from this, its worthwhile... highly recommend!!! 👌👍

the ambience is one of the best i've seen for a local bar in chennai. really good music and very cool vibe. the place looks exotic. the food tastes just brilliant and the drinks are expensive but really good in taste. must visit for anyone looking forward to a fun night in chennai.

was quite good place to chill with ur buddies... the staffs are very helpful and polite too... got ground nuts and popcorn as complimentary... we ordered loaded cheese fries... omg mouth watering... 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 toooo yum.... and their signature dish chilli tandoori tikka.... was tooo good must try... overall good experience..

the cocktails were so good. but the way they treat people is not good. i did not like it. it was bad to be honest. they should learn how to treat people.

it’s a nice place to go on a weekend for a few drinks. the music is nice but too loud. they don’t have a dancing area as such. the food and the place is good but definitely not a place if you are looking for a club with young crowd around.
