alchemy bar & lounge

this was the first time i visited the newly refurbished (i didn't know this) alchemy bar and lounge. the first impression was amazing!!!! the interior and the ambiance was very impressive. the service wasgreatas well they were very hospitable and friendly.

the only setback was that we had to wait a bit longer for our food to be served. plus the drinks i had ordered were a bit too diluted with sugar and lime for my taste.

however i would give the place a 4/5 on the whole experience.

i suggest everyone to try this bacon wrapped prawns and jamaican jerk chicken ..

went here with my dad, must say, we had agreatevening. good tastes great. though we ordered vegetarian, but i am pretty sure non veg isgreattoo.

had good time with food and drinks. it was worth to money andgreatevening, perfect place to hangout with friends nice ambiance,greatfood, perfect drinkz, very attentive staff
special mention to mr.dinesh who was very attentive and helped me for dessert called chia pudding. it was amazing... thk u so much dinesh u made my day... n thnk u alchemy...

alchemy - situated at the lower ground floor of raj park is one the best places to visit with your friends for party and late night drinks. those who drink would love this place and for the non drinkers they have agreatpalatte to offer.
personal fav- buffalo wings, loaded fries
dj and dance floor is very nice. do visit and have agreattime.

really good place interms of ambiance-
dim light with comfortable seating,
tried only beers (bottle) so no comments..
the food is reallygreatspecially the jerk chicken ,cooked for the perfection
the right amount of spice  been used,soo goood,

the only disappointment was when we order for the main course they   said chinese is closed ,then we order for something else again they said not avelabel ,

suggestion- if the restaurant is open why not all the menu,why few dishes..

overall it was good but we traveled from long and didnt get the main course,thats really  a big disappointment ,...

beautifully set up with a pleasant interior and good theme. seating set up was perfect and you get good privacy. i usually go here by noon on the weekdays so it won't be crowded and there won't be any dj at that time so the place will be calm with a mild background music.(i don't prefer loud music). alchemy serves you fresh draugh beers which is why i love visiting here. food i haven't tried any main course here but their peri peri chicken has good flavours and a perfect starter for your drink.
overall this place has its own story and it's agreatplace to chill out.

beautiful ambience with the perfect amount of lighting!ordered the chicken tikka pizza ! the crust was thin with mozarella oozing and coating the chicken .one of the best pizzas i had.! the peri peri chicken was a burst of flavours . the chicken panini was ok. the bar menu is excellent. the service was splendid.excellent staff crew!the food wasgreat, a little on the expensive list, yet worth it .

agreatplace to enjoy with friends ! the music isgreatand it's one of the very few places where one can dance to bollywood songs in chennai ! the food isgreat! i would give the ambience a 5/5 ! the service is alsogreat! we had biryani here which was quite good ! overall it was agreatexperience !

i had agreattime here. a very nicely done place, courteous staff, good food and good music (special mention for dj jessy). there are tv screens, some of them screen the sports matches (when i went there was a pl match on). special mention for loaded fries and tandoori chilli chicken!

undoubtedly one of the best places to hangout with friends.greatand cozy ambience. they got some of the good choices of cocktails. foooood is definitely splendid... right from cocktails, starters to desserts....great taste and the way they present it is quite appealing. 

the only thing that felt disappointed was with the service, they were too slow in attending customers. though whatever was ordered hadgreatsavor but food was not served hot, it was not even warm. 

non vegetarians must try peri peri chicken and masala fried fish. 

apart from this, its worthwhile... highly recommend!!! 👌👍

this place is one amazing place for people who like to enjoy not only the food or the ambience but the vibe.afterall it's all about,"vatavaran" we are talking.cool,very classy,chic vibe withgreatambience ,soothing music and to top of it all the delicious food.all i have is ,yummy.the peri peri chicken was great,the pasta was to die for but the pizza disappointed me slightly.im a pizza lover so i had high expectations .never mind the chicken and the pasta did the work.i order cocktail drinks too and to my surprise there wasn't any mixing and stuff.we all know about the deeds done behind the bar.it was onegreatexperience visiting this place.

alchemy is definitely one of the highest rated places on zomato.

the place is located at agreatarea in the basement of hotel raj park.

the place decorated in black and gold has a regal look to it. the service and the food however do not live up to the expectations.

i went in and ordered their italian dumpling soup which took roughly about 45 minutes to be served. it was recommended and yet it was nothing more than tomato soup with chunks of chicken that tasted weird.

moving on we ordered red velvet cocktail and barcadi limon and for a beer cocktail the red velvet was a definite yes.

on further recommendation we tried berry sangria ( they have a lot of variety ) which lacked punch but on notifying was made much better.

the tandoori chicken was the worst deal. we waited for a good while before we got the dish which was hard to cut or chew. the meat wasn't well cooked at all and it made the entire experience really bad.

go for any of the beef dishes here and their combos.greathappy hours deal as well.

the only reason i am rating this place as a four is for mr. narain who was very good at his job who immediately called and apologized. i hope to have a much better experience next time.

visited this place on a friday afternoon. loved the ambience and food. kudos to mr muthu, the bartender, for his courteous service. overall agreatexperience. definitely a place that i would recommend to others♥
