past few years i have been regularly visiting thisplaceas it is closer to home as opposed to their jlt branch. each year during ramadan i end up buying around 40-50 hareesa from the unit in al barsha. well. not anymore, especially after my experience yesterday...

i went to pick up the very 1st hareesa from al barsha, whilst waiting for the order i received a text from a friend to collect 2 for them. i noticed my order arrived and it was left on the floor behind the counter. one of the waiters picked it up and handed it to me, i questioned why it was left on the floor and not on the counter. immediately, one of the senior members of staff stepped in and told everyone else to keep quiet. i assumed he would try to understand my concern and then come up with a solution whereas i walk away with not only the order but add the additional orders. instead, the gentleman told me that it was his system and if i wanted the food then i should take it or leave it.

so i decided not only to have my money returned but not order from them for as long as i remain in dubai.

the staff were very rude and unprofessional. i asked for their names, to which they refused to provide. never seen anything like it!

so bad service , i recived my order after 2 hours , and i am the who was following and calling to check where is the order and the only thing i have from them is we will call you back no worries, and from the first hour they told me on the way on the way, and at the end after waiting one hour and a half they found that they didn'tplacethe order in their system, 

they think that the customer he is waiting for them all the day and he dosent have something else to do, i am working and i have one hour lunch break and i lost my lunch break for the second time sitting and waiting for my order to be received.

and my biggest issue that no one call to say sorry for late delivery, like nothing happened. 

this is the last time i will order from them,.

worst service i have had in 2 years in dubai. the staff is extremely rude giving the wrong order and then when asked to correct they use a rude tone. not gonna order from thisplaceever again

we had a very bad experience today. we had to wait more than 60 minutes before our food arrived. waiter forgot it probably and did not apologize. after we received only a part of it, we wanted to leave but we couldnt cancel the remaining part. which we still didnt have! we never go to thisplaceanymore.

visited thisplacewith my family.... alhamdolillah the food is so delicious that no effort at all was required with kids... all enjoyed and ate to fill ... alhamdolillah

thisplaceis too good...i'm not sure if this the same chain as in dammam but the food and service is really up to the mark. the staff is courteous and the service is par excellence. the style of cooking madfoon however varies from the one i usually go to (i.e. madfoon al khaimah) but the mandi (both lamb and chicken) is worth a drive.
the parking (rta) is not a problem at all. i regard it really important feature for any good restaurant.

awesomeplaceand food. they have family section too where in you can sit down and have a quiet meal in privacy of small cabins. the madhbi is a must try and the lamb zurbiyan. the meat literally falls off the bone. you should also not come out if thisplacewithout having the ma'soob, which is a sweet made of banana and i think oats. it's topped with yemeni honey which makes it taste very very yummy.

when your tummy roar like a lion and your craving for a grilled lamb but then theplaceyou used to dine is an hour away. what would you do? this is where the google maps plays the role of a "restaurant finder."
we saturated al barsha 1 just to locate a certain place, but what we found was al romansiah, a mandi/mazbi restaurant. i was not fascinated by theplaceand didn't expect much about the quality of their food.
when they served me my grilled lamb, great astonishment registered on my face...disbelief of what i saw. a huge serving of food that would probably for 2 persons. 😱 but they said only good for one.
so, i started checking it and wow it's smells really yummy. the taste is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! superb! exquisite! i just so loved it and will definitely recommend it to my networks. 👍😍

excellent mandi, and related dishes including the massive rateb breads, conveniently located in barsha, food in consistent with good service but what i like best is the ambience for mandi-like food in dubai with a table with a road view - not like regular mandi places which are often overcarpeted (although not denying that must have experience for first timers), ample parking. prices are probably 10% more than other similar places in the area. also haven’t seen chicken zorbian at any other mandiplaceyet, most places have only the meat option.

i tried thisplacetwice, hoping that the second time would be better. but unfortunately it wasn’t. the food is subpar and the service was not the friendliest. i don’t think that i would go back.

al romansiah brings old world charm to the menu. when we visited the restaurant it felt like we had moved back in time. spacious sit down spaces on the floor coupled with regular tables and chairs give this restaurant a very unique look and feel. everything about thisplaceseemed old fashioned in a nice way.

the service is very nice and the team is very attentive.

we found the food over priced for the overall package. but it is certainly a very unique experience and one should visit at least once.

will we visit again? probably not.

went with another friend,placewas amazing, we ordered madhby, potato and tomato sauce, arabic salad and kunafe, with watermelon juice..food was really amazing, the server was friendly too, would recommend to others

one of my favorite go to mandiplacewhen i crave for madfoon. it’s a steamed chicken dish that i love to eat every few days. i call mandi places as mc donald’s of middle east, i grew up in dubai but never had mandi 6-7 years before. the trend in mandi places popped up literally like mushrooms. there are many mashrooms (i mean mandi places) in barsha but my favorite is romansiah, food is amazing, ambience is clean and nice. parking is ample and location is very convenient.

what thisplacereally wins on is their location and space for dining in. located close to the sharaf dg metro station side, this is supposed to be a popular mandi and mazhby place.

i ordered the chicken kebab which had only 3 long strips of kebabs. the dish was accompanied by supposedly grilled tomato and onion. why do i say that is because it wasn't exactly grilled but burnt to an extent that if you gulp it you would cough. the kebabs tasted decent. in addition to the khubous the kebabs were wrapped in they also gave a huge roti kind of a thing. not sure what's the point of that much breads for just handful kebabs.

overall i feel the food and presentation doesn't justify the price they charge. maybe a mandi or mazhby is what you can probably try.
