a really great place for mandy and madhfoun with great flavours and meat. the staff are very friendly and the food comes quick.
foodie recommendations:
chicken mandy or madhfoun both have delicious rice but the madhfoun has great spicing and flavour, super delicious!
the complimentary soup is also very good.
also really recommend their bread, fattouch salad and arabic salad. a great location in al barsha with easy access to parking opposite.

this is one of the better mandi places that i have tried in dubai. here's why :
1. the food here is amazing. i wish they had larger tables because the kind of food that you are eating it does not justify the current table size. i recommend you sit and eat in the majlis area ( some friends had problems getting up after the meal though)
2. you have to try the meat madhfoon that is i believe their speciality and goes out of stock quickly.
3. the roti/ bread is huge and can be sufficient for 3 people and is very well made.
4. the soup, hummus, grills are equally well made and make a good accompaniment to the mandi which is the star of the meal.
5. the service is a bit slow and you have to do a fair bit of wait - but the food makes up for it
6. airy and bright the place makes you feel really ready for a heavy meal.

its not bad but not excellent as well, experienced better of course, with more attention could be better, my main issue was the chicken is very big and greasy, he can fix that with a better quality.

romansiah - is one of the more amazing restaurants in dubai - that offers authentic yemeni mandi. the dish to order there - however is not mandi - it is haneeth - side ( a full carcass of ribs) with rice. it can feed two - so its value for money - but what more it is outstanding. please dont order it - just go and eat fresh.

a lovely dinner during eid holidays. we were missing saudi food so stopped by to enjoy this delicious treat. neat clean place with traditional floor seating. service is just average but food is outstanding. we had chicken madghood ,mix grill with large yemeni bread and hummus.

ladies and gentlemen, our dear reviewers, i learned that every person seriously basis the rating based on one experience and it is difficult to be convinced that the rating is fair.

the rating of the restaurant is seriously unfair based on my repeated visit to this restaurant. i have been here three times and the food is unbelievably delicious!!! i know our local dishes and for us this is by far one of the best yemeni restaurants you would ever experience!

the haneeth janb "ribs" is a must and i'm really not interested to try anything else as i want to have it every time i visit this place! enjoy it and thank me later!! try also the pomegranate juice! free yemeni tea at the end is a nice closure ;)

this review is purely based on delivery and i have not eaten at the actual restaurant.
delivery time was a bit late but somehow acceptable.
food was cold and had really no taste.

i wish there was a big zero to rate this costly restaurant, the worst ever mandi i have had in my life, tasteless, smelly hard meat, and under cooked rice in price of 85 for one meal!!!!

didn't find it any different from the other 100 mandi restaurants out there. bait al mandi is 5 mins away so i would prefer the mandi from there. the rice and meat/fish portion is huge.. good for a hearty meal. the rice didn't have any favour so needs a lot of the tomato chilli chutney. ask for extra if you are ordering in.

how was the food?
yummy!
ordered the chicken madhfoun and meat zurbiyaan for ifthar. it is enough to feed a family. the portions are huge!

how was the ambience?
we were seated in a private room which had an arabian style. there was a curtain, a bell to call for any queries, and the best of all we were seated on the carpeted floor

how was the staff?
very polite

how was the price?
35+65 + additional for drinks

i don't know why this restaurant has such low reviews - this is my go-to for lamb mandy rice! the mandy rice is nice and rich, not too dry like other places, and the lamb is delicious and full of flavor. i've never eaten in the restaurant, so can't say anything about cleanliness and ambience, but they do fast delivery!

great food very authentic. meat was very well cooked and the bread was amazing. service was good but waitress could have been more informative. but over all i recommend this place for anyone that is looking for very good yemeni food.

the food quality is great and my favorite has to be the chicken madhby without a doubt. the soup that comes along with the order just compliments the rest of the meal and the quantity is more than enough for its price so i'll say its economical as well. my only suggestion is that they should give more chutney's along with the meal.
