wow! went there for mother's day brunch ! was awesome what a menu they put out for that special day! loved it!! theserviceoutstanding, kept the drinks full never empty! great staff there everyone works together do not see that at most places, wish i would have gotten everyone's name to compliment them all! our server was glen and he was super!! thank you!

my wife and i were on our way to the airport to leave texas. we were in town to attend a graduation. before we left dallas we wanted to grab a bite for lunch at a nice texas style steakhouse, and by chance we stumbled across al biernat's while driving around downtown. much to our surprise everything was so exceptionally great from theserviceto the quality of food. we were treated like royalty from the start of our meal to the finish. my wife had the brioche french toast and and a crab cake benedict. i had the 24oz rib eye steak cooked medium and the garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus and brussel sprouts. everything was absolutely delicious and i am saying this truthfully the steak was the best steak i have ever had. each bite of it was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. go please and do yourself a favor.

we went here on a saturday night in early november - not our first time here, and certainly a restaurant that we wanted to eat at again...and again...and again.

pulling into the valet parking area, you notice all the high end cars in the lot. you know that this is someplace special. the same feeling is had when walking into the restaurant, what you might expect at a high end steakhouse.servicewas outstanding, no mistakes were made, great recommendations, drinks were kept full...again what you might expect.

where al biernat's really stands out from other steakhouses is...the steak! we had filet mignon and prime rib as our main dishes, with a side of onion rings and steak soup. the filet mignon could be cut with a fork (really!) it was so tender. no gristle, no fat, pink in the middle, great flavor. i can say it was the best filet i have ever had. the prime rib was absolutely massive, the size of a third graders back pack! a flawless prime rib that can also be classified as "best ever had". the steak soup is a must-try...too bad it wasn't bottomless. the onion rings were ok, we might try something different next time.

this is certainly a top steakhouse in the dfw area and our personal favorite up to this point. other steakhouses may have a better ambiance, but this features the food like no other. delicious!

theserviceis impeccable & the staff was warm and welcoming. i had the crab cakes to start which were nothing short of amazing and the surf and turf was out of this world. i highly recommend to anyone.

we have a winner!. made 6:00 reservations on a saturday evening at al biernat's due to the positive overall reviews on us. was curious as to how they compared to other steakhouses.

nom'd - 10 oz. buffalo filet, mac & cheese, key lime pie

yea, wow, we have a winner in the "best steak" department. any ways, we walked in and were greeted by al himself, who proceeded to seat us at our table. i believe that's a first, where the owner is present and working - very cool. the prices were very comparable to other high end steakhouses that i have been to. my girl went with an 8 oz. filet, while i took the waiter's recommendation and tried the 10 oz. buffalo filet, with a side of mac & cheese to share. we snacked on some soft bread w/butter until our steak's came out.

ok, wow. first, our steak's were cooked perfectly, with mine a medium and hers a medium rare. they passed the taste test with flying colors - her filet you almost could have cut with a fork, while my buffalo filet was almost as tender and plenty juicy. the taste was like a little meaty heaven, i swear. i have never tasted a steak so good and with such flavor like i have here. no sauce, no seasoning, nothing was needed. amazing, can't say enough. the mac and cheese was good as well, strong cheesy taste - i have tasted better, but those instances i can count on one hand. but the steak...good golly, i love my carbs but i would choose their cuts of meat over any carbohydrate, any day. theservicewas also plenty good, what you would expect from a steakhouse of this caliber.

for dessert we tried the key lime pie, though they did have a wide variety of offerings. i do wish the slice was a bit bigger than what we got, but it had a good refreshing taste and one of the better kl pie's i have tasted.

i really can't wait to go back. well worth the $110+ for two people. al biernat's is my new "go to" high end steakhouse and a "favorite" on us.

great food and theservicewas superb. i ordered the prawns appetizer and coconut creme pie; both were very tasty.

great place. we visited al's a couple of weeks ago for my daughter and daughter-in-law's birthday. the food was absolutely amazing after i sent my swordfish kabobs back and replaced it with a 12oz lobster. the kabobs were overcooked. everything else was fabulous. we had appetizers (crab cakes, steak tartare, and the tempura battered prawns) fillets, sea bass and lobsters and even the vegetable plate. we also had a couple bottles of wine and theservicewas terrific. our server was very attentive, but not overbearing. just be prepared for the bill!!

one of the best dining experiences in dallas. my husband and i met four other friends for dinner at this fabulous restaurant. the food was absolutely cooked to perfection, the wine list was amazing, and theservicewas second to none. an unforgettable experience for sure! we will definitely be making a return visit.

the steak. is always great. the sides and dessert are great. theservicehas always been friendly and has never given me the "do you even belong here" attitude.

there's actually an al. al biernat...yes, there's really an al and he actually works on the floor. great steak, but more then anything the mac and cheese was about the best side i've ever had. i could go on about that for a while. cool thing too, after dinner able to light up in their cigar area. great meal, greatserviceespecially in the cigar area...

always a treat!. i can always find an excuse to dine at al biernat's. the food just outdoes the atmosphere andservice- which are impeccable. i am craving it now!

great atmosphere, great steaks. the food is of course outstanding, but i love the atmosphere at al biernat's.serviceis always attentive and friendly. a standout.

great steakhouse. amazingserviceand great steakhouse feel without quite the cookie cutter steakhouse feel. they have some of the traditional steakhouse dark wood around but it is not just everywhere. definitely a favorite.
