i had the mexican bowl from here and i loved it!servicewas also great and the staff were super polite. i’m from melbourne and i would come down here again specifically for the food! thanks guys for the great experience :)

had a wonderful experience at this cafe last week! only visiting geelong for the night and needed somewhere for breakfast that would seat me and my 8 other family members (eeeek!!). already knowing that was a big ask, despite the small selection of tables, staff were more then welcoming of our favour and managed to save a large share table for us all! (bless you guys!!)
theservicewas relaxed and friendly, which really helped with a large group.

the coffee was amazing, i had a soy latte and ordered a second one it was that good! i also had the smashed avocado, which was fresh and generous! the rest of my family enjoyed their meals heaps!

i would love to come back if i got to geelong again! especially to to get another coffee ❤️❤️❤️

i visited a spot for joe on sunday morning for breakfast with friends.
there are some great menu options and the prices are good for what for you receive.
the downfall came with some of the service. our table ordered together and when the first two meals came out i was informed that they had run out of what i had ordered so i had to choose something else. i believe when you are dining out, meals should come out together. half of our table was finished their meal before myself and another friend even got ours.
i ended up having a bagel with chorizo, cheese, egg, onion, capsicum & rocket in it - it was absolutely delicious. my mocha was nice too, a perfect balance of coffee and chocolate however it would of been nicer warmer.

overall we were all really happy with the food received, i just thinkservicecould be improved and that’s the reason for my lower rating.

looking new coffee destination when we came across this place. a very non descriptive frontage. not on a major thoroughfare. this is somewhere you come to deliberately, rather than encounter by chance. this is somewhere worth seeking out. they do not have a huge range on offer, but what they do, they do very well. the attention to detail of the staff when we stopped in was fantastic from the care given to making the coffee to making sure that the displays were clean and tidy at all times. it appears to be very popular with those in the know. this popularity did make it a little noisy, but the atmosphere, quality of the food andservicecertainly made up for it. would recommend this place to those that believe in quality rather than just quantity.

i couldn’t disagree with the last review more. i think the new owners have brought this place to life. a welcoming hello when you walk in, and good customerserviceoverall. i had the granola and a black coffee. both were really enjoyable. i will be back!

not too bad. had a pumpkin feta sandwich. can't say i had badservicebut i can see what people are talking about. vibe isn't great. on a busy day it's a bit annoying as trucks zooming past but in the quiet time it would be good.

a spot for your coffee fix. best coffee i had during the 3 days i spent on the bellarine - dukes coffee i believe with very nice caramel notes. the vietnamese inspired chicken panini was even better than what the vietnamese shops do :) no problems with theserviceat all - staff were all friendly and efficient. i'm enjoying my takeaway cherry friand right now back in melbourne.

the place looks great, has a great vibe but theserviceis always awful. so unfriendly and rude. if you can get past the poorservicethen it's a nice space to sit and have a coffee.

disappointing. a long wait, abruptserviceand not accommodating for special dietary requirements. i was disappointed with my experience.

not sure what the fuss is about. my coffee was extremely hot and bitter after taste. as for the barista...you are not finding the cure to cancer, you make coffee - get over yourself. terribleserviceand for that reason, shall not return

delicious!. went for brekky and tried the 'avochoke smash' - great value for money, with avo, artichoke, feta and tomatoes piled high on a huge chunk of la madre bread. you could definitely share it! coffee was also excellent.servicewas friendly but a little slow, but i guess that's to be expected at such a busy little spot. will be back to try some of those amazing cakes in the window!!

still good.. after moving to melbourne i was finally able to get back to a spot for joe for the first time in months. coffee was still amazing, avochoke smash one of the best avocado dishes i've had and the huevos are hands down the best baked eggs i've had (and i tend to always get baked eggs!).

i have to wonder whether the other reviewers critiquing theservicerealised that its a counter-service venue and if they actually spoke to the staff at all.

my regular. i'm a cafe and caffeine fiend and i constantly find myself coming back to a spot for joe. coffee and panini's are consistently great as is the atmosphere. its the perfect lunch break cafe; quick, affordable and delicious.

i think a lot of people are mistaking focus (and sometimes the stress of working such a busy cafe, as we could all understand) as arrogance and aloofness. go and try chatting to a chef or a proper bartender in full swing on a busy night and see how much response you get, no difference here. questions about the coffee? want to ask some questions? try them on a quieter moment when you don't have a line of in-a-rush lunch goers behind you.

i was disappointed about the unfriendlyserviceby the owners of this cafe. people like to be greeted with a smile and hello and some info about their order. stood waiting for a coffee with no one behind the machine for 5mins with no explanation. food and coffee good but put off by owners lack of connection. most other cafe's are able to churn out hundreds of coffees' and still be warm and friendly.

staff need to learn to smile!!. i have frequented this quirky industrial cafe on a number of occasions. it's small but has an inviting space and gorgeous detail. the menu is simple and delicious! adorable decor and vibe! what lets this place down is the staff. on many occasions i have been waiting for a friend to a arrive and while sitting at a table i am always asked 'are you waiting for someone?' i am a paying customer, please don't rush me!! on my most recent visit we had to ask to have the table cleared when ordering more coffees much to the inconvenience to the sour faced waiter!! if you aren't 'trendy' enough for their liking it seems you are nothing but a burden to the owners and staff. such a sham because i love the panini's and atmosphere not to the mention the adorable artwork!
work on your customerserviceand smiles owners and staff and you may do a little better! stop worrying about who is cool and who's not, everyone money is worth the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and after you most recent facebook update about 'celebrity' visitors just makes confirms your pretentiousness!!
