cooking your own korean bbq can be a messy business sometimes when the charcoal smell penetrates your hair or clothes and lingers for days. not a problem at the enormous 678 korean bbq eastwood outlet with their state-of-the-art extractor fans, the only things linger on are the fun memories and unique taste of classic korean dishes.

awesome authentic korean bbq, awesome staff and one of the best korean bbq that i've been so far. the place is kinda small but they give excellent services. the meat quality is excellent, the beef has a lot of marbled on the beef and it just melts in your mouth. pork belly is also recommended, it taste really good quality meats overall.

i would recommend to come for lunch/dinner and try this place!

provides quality meats, the food is excellent and priced reasonably. but the service were average and could be more caring. the atmoshphere was good but seating was comfortable as there wasn’t enough room. recommend booking in advance.

i love a good bbq and whenever anyone invites me to korean bbq i get excited. i think it's because there are so many different types of meat, a variety of flavours and the great vibrancy of a restaurant where everyone is laughing and conversing over their own little bbq and that what you get at 678. we cooked up our wagyu blade and cube cuts. i’d like to think it had to be my cooking (even though i let someone else do most of it) but the meat was tender and sides added that little extra element expected in a meal. the dumplings and seafood pancake were just as nice and complimented the meat options perfectly. if you are having a feast then make sure you also grab the sizzling stone pot - a delicious mix of noodle, spice and broth. this place has a restaurant in the city and i will be sure to give it a visit as well. this eastwood version has heaps of room, although your best bet for a park would be on the street as the car park can get busy.

i wish i could love this place but the service just lets it down. i have been here twice and both times the waitresses/waiters treated us quite rudely, the second time we decided to pack up and leave even before ordering. it also doesn't have a great variety in its menu. for a restaurant that boasts visits from the best kpop groups, it was quite disappointing.

i’m both concerned and confused. the wagyu in the fridges are great, but why are the wagyu on consumer tables very average. i know my wagyu, i’m concerned that they only serve the good ones to people they know or koreans.......i rather go to a honest place. crows nest japanese wagyu “yakiniku” on falcon street

i am giving zero marks for the recent visit of this restuarant as a very regular customer!! it is such a terrible and disaster service talking about one of the female stuffs over there particularly!! she almost ruined my new year eve at the restuarant. it is clearly approved under the camera that she is rasim to us when i order extra lettuce and she say no straight way even i haven't finished my words, however another stuff brought over a whole basket in 5 mins when i tried to ask somebody else. and this is not the first time this stuff treat us in this way!! i completely have no idea why she keeps doing this to us while she is asian herself. she carried fresh pan and walked past us 5 times but not changing for us, however she changed once every 10 mins for the table behind which sitted around local people even they didn't ask for. can anyone from your restuarant tell me is this how you educate people to do service?

the beef, marinated or not, is super fresh and juicy. the raw beef tastes good. overall a great place if you’re not very hungry, as the price is a bit high but acceptable.

although not a bad place, i’d definitely say it’s quite overrated. the service was terrible, it took a very long time to get a menu, table water, waiters attention for anything even though they have so many people working!!
the meat was standard for the price, nothing special and the portion for some of it was hilarious (don’t expect 200g, one of them came out less then 100g). the cold noodles were below average, but the seafood soup was full of flavour, and along with some pretty good side dishes that’s probably the only positive. overall, i find the place not really worth the wait (on weekends) or the price. have had better quality meat for better price and service at other kbbq restaurants.

i went here for a birthday dinner and gosh, it’s packed (with safe distancing, of course) and it feels a little bit like in seoul 💛 we ordered 3 meats with one seafood pancake and we thought it should be enough...... and we were so wrong (and being wrong here is okay!!) because it is so much more than enough!! 😂

definitely coming back again for another experience here!! it was a treat!!

678 is a very famous chain from tv host/comedian kang ho dong. personally, i love it and the service they provided, as they are very attentive to each table and making sure the grill is constantly changed.

678 korean bbq has amazing quality of food. the cuts are generous and nicely marbled. my favourite dish is the korean beef tartare with the raw egg & julienned pears. the only limitation is the side dishes, often kbbq places have a variety of side dishes, however 678 are quite limited to only a few such as kim chi & sweet potato.

absolutely favourite kbbq place, especially this 678 in eastwood. their intercostal is so juicy and delicious, can’t get over it. that spring onion and bean sprouts salad is a great complimentary dish for bbq meat. 10/10!

easily my favorite korean bbq. you’ll find the price is similar at other places but meat is nowhere near as good! definitely recommend 💯

finally came here after hearing good reviews from friends. we heard there’s always a long queue so we went late (around 8-8:30pm) on a weeknight and didn’t really have to wait. the table is all laid out with side dishes by the time they brought us to our table. i like how they line the edge of the bbq with half egg and half cheesey corn. the marinated beef rib and pork cheek were my favourite cuts of meat.
