4 pines - keller door

great place. nice to have somewhere decent to eat and drink on the northern beaches at last. food is massive in serving size so it ends up as good value for money despite the price on the menu.drinks aregreatit's nice to support a local brewery. my favourite was the ginger beer. good mix of old and young and casual dress code. easy to get to as it's directly opposite the ferry. in fact if you're going i recommend the ferry so you don't worry about parking and fit in a few drinks. i thought the service was good. definantly going back.

if you're after good pub food and beer to wash it all down this is the place to go. it was packed on a friday night and hard to find a table. we eventually got one outside looking out to the beach. i was pretty hungry and chose the manly mega burger which was both mega and manly as the name suggests. paired with the pale ale and i was left very full and satisfied. hubby had the beef pie which was a generous portion.greatfood, beer and atmosphere.

there is a lack of reviews since late 2017 and that's because this place has been completely revamped. it is now just a pub both upstairs and downstairs, with some bar food offered. food options notgreatand quite overpriced. beer selection still excellent but really surprised as the food here was very decent before.

very knowledgable and helpful staff. they assisted us to choose from a range of beverage and tapas. the meals were of agreatvalue and were seasoned nicely. the only fault i could find - no wifi. we will definitely be coming back here!

service was quick at 4 pines brewing company although i thought there would be more people. i ordered the black & white fettuccine and it lookedgreaton photo. unfortunately, the squid ink black fettuccine was alright but the "original" fettuccine was overdone and a little soggy. the dish was extremely generous with ingredients but a pity the wheat beer was unavailable

amazing food!! we had the mini burgers and the mango salad and seriously the salad was one of the best i've ever eaten!greatservice. only downside: beer a little bit flat.

this place is fantastic, i love this place. i've been coming here for years, and the beer is always amazing!

my friend and i had some stout, some ipa, some keller door limited edition beer, and ... and the night went on and we had an esb bitter yummmm hahaha

it was anothergreatnight, if you haven't been here hop on a ferry or get there anyway you can. but don't drive or you won't be able to taste an outstanding selection of beers. this is definitely the place to go on the beaches!

and 4 pines has expanded and it now has taken over the old restaurant out of africa downstairs. i didn't try the restaurant last night but i've eaten upstairs before so the restaurant it's definitely on the cards haha

it's agreatspot, especially in the afternoon when the sun is setting in the west over the harbour. the food is pretty good, fairly standard "fancy" pub food but that's not really what you're there for. it's the excellent range of fantastic beers that's the reason for dropping in.

4 pines make some of the nicest beers in sydney and while they are widely available in bottle shops and on tap in a lot of other bars around the place, there is an awesome selection of special and seasonal beers generally only available at the bar in manly. for those not interested in beer, they have a good selection of other drinks and i've never really had a complaint from anyone that i've been there for not being able to find something that want to drink.

the only issue i'd have is that it's not the biggest venue and as everyone else also wants to be there, finding a seat can sometimes be a problem. people are usually moving on reasonably regularly so just be prepared to have your first drink perched somewhere before a table becomes available.

great beer -greatpub food. pretty much this sums it up. the view is nice, beer selection is huge on special brewers beers. the burger was yummy. service friendly. what else do you need?

craft beer not to be missed. we tried the esb and kolsch. both turned out real well. fish and chips were tasty with wonderful portion size. the seafood bouillabaisse was yummy but was lil disappointed with the stuff in it. there was live music the day we went. it was agreataddition to the overall ambience. would definitely recommend this place.

i love love love this place .. trip advisor reviews by travelers revealed this place. we went all the way to manly just for this place, read about the fresh beer, so had to.
located within just 2mins walk from the ferry station, right up in front.
ambience was so lively cheerful and happy, the bar girl was so helpful.
we ordered our beers and yes the reviews were so true, so strong fresh that i could go there over and again. food is irrelevant when the beer is so good. good news was the pizza we ordered was also crisp fresh andgreatto taste.
so guys go to this place, amazing!!

couple of visits to 4 pines now and there isn't anything not to like.greatvibe in the bar and balcony space, a batch of local brewings on tap and a good quality selection of various foods. the mega burger is a beast but delicious all the way through. staff are friendly and helpful on the food or beer if you need it and with a bit of the harbour to look at thrown in, it's hard not to find yourself relaxing into it for a few hours. easy enjoyment.

great beers, the english pale ale is one of my favourite beers from sydney.greattasting room with amazing views and food. will make a habit of coming here every time i visit manly.

4 pines for many years has been my go-to pale ale brew. however, after my experience tonight i will no longer be asking for the beer at any local bars.

after a few local beers and pizzas i suggested we go to 4 pines for some locally brewed beers. i have been a local for many years and enjoyed visiting the venue numerous times. one of my friends, who brews and sells his own beer in england, did not particularly like one sample of beer from the beer tasting. fair enough right? not everybody loves every single beer. the staff member who reluctantly and frankly rudely served us was shocked to hear the comments of my friend, and quite clearly mumbled, "why don't you **** off then" and "well don't ******* drink it then", excellent customer service guys. soon after, (i'm sure after telling the 'shocking' news to another staff member, all 7 of us were kicked out. 

even if the overweight justin bieber and the other staff member (who i kindly asked why we were asked to leave after buying over $100 dollars of beer from and got no answer) were both having the shittiest monday ever, it does not excuse the disrespect and blatant rudeness shown to bar patrons. i was embarrassed that i brought guests to your establishment.greatwork 4 pines.
