awesome scene. good beer, great staff, awesome laid back atmosphere. definitely a place to go to with friends regularly in manly!

with their ‘space beer’ about to launch (literally) i just had to head north to the microbrewery that’s so popular, they even appeared on richard branson’s radar. co-owner jaron mitchell knows beer, but does he know food? (i worry these brewers can’t see the forest for the (pine) trees.) thankfully i’m proved wrong – they serve classic beer food, from mussels to curries, without a tradie’s beer garden atmosphere.

best spot in manly. this place has become my local.
great little set up, hand made beer (you can actually watch as the brewer brews it). the food is great value, tasty and generous. the staff are friendly and down to earth. definetly worth dropping in!

best beer. these guys continue to impress... from their selection of flavorsome kraft beer to enjoyable pub grub and forever welcoming staff.

if you enjoy a proper beer and appreciate the effort that goes into creating it then go here. you will not be disappointed.

great but.... food there is amazing... the beers are first class but the last three times i've been in, they haven't had their kolsch or pale ale (two of their most impressive beers) available. not a good time of year to be running out of beer. fail.

amazing discovery. we bought a voucher at a fundraising event for 4 of us and popped along for our brewery tour and some food last saturday night. what a fun experience and what an unknown gem (to us). obviously popular with those nearby in manly, this is a great spot for some micro brewery beers and lovely tapas style food. sarah, our brewery guide, and the licensee is tremendous. a highly recommended jaunt for anyone!

we chose to limit ourselves to the "peckish" section of the menu, so that we could still fit in food later on. we ordered the ploughman's platter (cold cuts, vintage cheddar, preserves and farm style

awsome beer, great food, awesome views!. the beer here is exceptional aussie micro brew, complimented with great food. located immediately behind the manly wharf, this microbrewery looks out over sydney harbour and is a great location for a quiet afternoon beer. staff are very friendly and happy to answer your brewery questions.. great 5+

manly needs more of these type of places! safety wolf (which i will add to urb.sp is another place there should be more of. getting back to 4 pines it's not too big, not too small. cozily fitted out and te micro brewery is great (love the tasting paddle)... food is good with great weekday specials for when it's quieter and a great buzz on the weekend. highly recommended

good grub!. upstairs on the manly esplanade, this restaurant offers reasonable views out over manly harbour, but undoubtedly the best thing about 4 pines is the fact that it is a micro-brewery and has a good selection of home made beers available. taster racks are available for around $12 allowing you to sample each of the 5 beers, and there is a good bar-food menu. lunchtime deals are available, such as 2 people share a plate of mussels, chips and bread for $20.
