great food and service. they have very good sushi and is the go toplacefor oysters. the staff went out their way to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied

decent food. had the ribs, with peri basting. really really good. price was a little steep. being in the heart of the action, right at the waterfront, means theplaceexperiences huge traffic. so, be prepared for that. others would be drawn to this. carrot cake was marvelous. i returned 3 times, consecutive days. on each occasion, the cake was as perfect, so top marks for consistency.

he had oysters and said they were the best yet that hed tasted....i had sushi...it was so fresh and my mouth tasted of the sea.

lovely food...place...setting...staff...vegas was a man who loves his job and does it well.

greatplaceto dine with friends and family, warm and friendly. oysters were super fresh, east coast soles were grilled just right. side salad was soggy and tartar sauce had too much mayonnaise, great wine but pricey, but will definitely come again!

excellent staff. very polite and helpful. have complete knowledge of the food and wine..thisplaceis known for its sea food however being a vegetarian i skeptically ordered vegetarian options and to my surprise it was one glorious meal, fresh bursting with flavours. definitely one of the best vegetarian dinner that i have had!! thank you so much guys for making a vegetarian enjoy his meal so much !

this is a lovely place. we had a fantastic dinner with the whole family. we chose thisplacecause we all felt like something different, sushi, steak and pizza. we were all a bit worried cause usually places that offer such a variety don’t always have great food but we were all more than happy. great service, good set up, great food.

visited jan 2018 had the oysters which were purported to be fresh but smelled like faecal matter. i should have sent these back immediately. however i was really keen to sample these south african oysters and the waiter who was awesome said that these were large and fresh at r30 each..mind you the soet patat was awesome,these folk should keep things simple. if you gonna be the purported :home of oysters in knysna", then bloody well do it properly. 

so i am still alive ,,no side effects..thisplacelooks great and has a nice shop. but give it a miss..i am sure there are better places that serve oysters off a higher quality.

in humid environments always serve beers quickly after pouring. hate warm beers in warm environment.
encourage your staff to be helpful not stand around talking and looking disinterested. new zealand oysters are way fresher,cleaner and dont lie open or unattended for hours on end before serving. if you okes are using marina water in your tanks..guess what??

this is such nice place. so many options on the menu, cute shop attached to the restaurant. theplacewas stacked with people, resembling the good food. it would be great if they arrange for more waiters over the busy season as service was unfortunately not good at all.

had the tuna espatada and calamari rings - possibly the best ever!

the menu has a lot of variety like seafood, mexican,
and pizza. we tried the antipasti platter for 2. was nice, but have had better. it's reasonably priced and there's friendly service. you get spoilt with a nice view as well. would not say this is the bestplacein knysna, but it's nice for a quick lunch or drink. erik pistorius

if you find any problem with thisplacethen the fault is with you or you are very unlucky. great seafood- we had a variety of oysters, sushi, kingklip etc. the "favorites" wine selection is beyond incredible. riaan- our waiter was on point. a special experience!!

they have a huge variety and are so affordable.
if you aren't a fan of fish, they do a lot of other dishes including mexican and meze.
it's like a little trip around the world in one place.
only downfall is the shortage of wines by the glass.

looking for some seriously good seafood? then look no further.

the food at thisplaceis fantastic. proper and fresh seafood that is prepared well too. we decided to grab a warm and cold dish for a quick lunch. so our go-to dishes were some kind of sushi and creamy garlic mussels, because if either of those are not good then thisplacewould be no good, but luckily those dishes were absolutely amazing. just loved it.

the atmosphere is so inviting. restaurant, bar, deli, coffee shop, 34 south has it all in one with a friendly set of staff. right outside is the marina where you can see some boats coming and going which is just pure relaxation.

unfortunately, we felt like the service was completely lacking. it was a tad busy but that is no reason to not attend to us. they were so slow and it took ages for them to come to us for anything. we decided to get up and pay at the entrance too because our waiter was nowhere to be found.

we decided to try thisplaceout for an early dinner. we got there and upon walking in it smelled really unpleasant. we sat outside and ordered a cocktail and water. the pina colada was very nice i must say. i haven't had oysters in years so i decided to give the oysters a try. i also quite enjoyed that. as we started paging through the massive menu, we just couldn't find anything that seems nice. the menu is way too big, and even has mexican dishes etc, which i personally think doesn't fit in. apart from that, the menu was sticky and dirty, and gave off a foul smell as well. everything just felt dirty and we decided to rather ask for the bill and went else where. they obviously make money because of all the tourists at the waterfront, and don't bother to try and impress. not my idea of a good restaurant.
