what a disappointment! i live in the area and have walked passed many times and thought wow that place looks great! tried it last night, the food is very average, very small portions for what you pay and it does not live up to its expectation of traditional fresh italian cuisine (it tastes like it has come straight from the microwave) the atmosphere and look of the place is great ill give them that! we were sat next to two loud pompous "fashionistas" who thought everything was "fabulous" which was a shame but i would recommend going there for a catch up drink rather than a meal. i think most people go there to be seen rather than enjoy food.

cosy - friendly - yummy. such a fantastic spot! excellent, friendly and knowledgable staff. and all the dishes were delish. calamari, pesto pasta and sirloin with rocket and potato. yum! and a great selection of wines.

best bday venue. the guys at 10 william street kindly reserved a table for 10 of us despite a "no reservations" policy.. and all 10 of us were raving about the place after. food was superb, wines were different but tasty, but the highlight was the service. everything was perfect, from our glasses always being topped up, to advice on wines, and service that was attentive but not intrusive. i cannot rave highly enough about the experience we had, particularly as i'm a keen foodie and have eaten at most of sydney's best.

worst service i have ever received. not only did the waiter take 10 mins to get our bill he then walked around the bar with my card chatting up customers before then finally giving me a receipt to sign 10 mins later. wines were very average also. tried 3 before one was even drinkable.

10 william street is a wine bar that boasts a serious menu of italian eats in the fashion-centric william street. there's no signage at the street front, nor inside, but you'll recognise the retro black tiled frontage with big glass windows opening up to cosy groups quaffing wine beneath blackboards proffering a healthy collection of wines. the first street-level floor of 10 william street is more your small bar, with dim and intimate seating for small groups as well as a few seats at the bar. it's not any brighter u

thank god for 10 william st!. my favourite place in sydney. the wine, food, service and ambience are all right up there for me. such a great spot. we always get looked after and have a good time. as paddington locals we probably spend far too much time there but don't regret a single visit. long may it last.

as the rule of thumb goes if you have a hard time finding it, it’s probably going to serve up some amazing dosh. the exterior of this fratelli paradiso sibling is fairly spartan: a glass front with an open door luring you into the narrow wine bar within. the interior is fitted with a leather sitter which runs the perimeter of the front room, small green and white cafe tables provide a good rest for tired elbows whilst a collection of thonet bentwood chairs and stools compliment the understated cream pane

there's no thought of "too much of a good thing" when the paradiso boys are concerned. just when you thought the clan couldn't get any sexier they pop into paddington with their new wine bar 10 william street- a marketing ploy to recall where you are heading after a few at the paddington inn? i think so… chances are you will need to wait for a table anyhow. if you thought that an extra venue for brothers enrico and giovanni 'johnny' paradiso and business partner marco ambrosino would mean better chances of getting at table, you'd be sorely mistaken. 10 william street is even more jam-packed than fratelli paradiso though luckily because of speedy service and attentive staff, things can turn over quite quickly. the atmosphere at 10 william street is very similar to the paradiso- dark, smoldering and european and i like it. there is just the right mix of what we love about the italians without the arrogant attitude that comes when asking for advice about the wine.

i found the service very slow. i felt like i was ignored. service was bad and the waiter was very rude. food was ok but overpriced. it was very noisy and i won't be going back. i'd rather go across the road to the paddington inn. service and food is much better in there.

this place is terrible. our waiter was rude, arrogant and incompetent. we waited more than 30mins to get a drink. appalling service, bad wine, ordinary food. i'm a paddington local and i won't be going back there again and i will make sure i tell all my friends too.

sarcastic staff and awful wines. after 6pm this becomes an extremely crowded, noisy and airless bar. the waiters have no idea about the wines they are recommending. the food is ordinary and the service we received from one particular waiter was rude and gratuitous. overall wouldn't bother...better wine, food and service elsewhere.

pasta wine yum. popped in here last night - great buzz and staff very friendly. had the cannolli and the prawn pasta. very nice food and great value. wine list a bit scary as extensive and not the usual choices but staff recommendations where spot on. again thank god paddo finally has some wine bars that are fabbb

wine and cheese and late trading hours. it takes a fair bit to get me away from the wine library but on sat night after a gig in town we wandered back homeish and looking for a late night tipple, its past 11pm so my local library is closed, thought about paddo inn but wayy too noisy and stumbled into this fab new bar. loved the servcie, everyone so friendly! tasted a few wines - very interesting list and cheese fab. menu looked a bit limited but the atmosphere and wine list makes up for it. oh and its open late yeah! another grown up bar in paddo - tops!
