this place is amazing!! the food is exceptional and so is the service. if i could give this place a 10 out of 5, i would. we sat in the upstairs area which was much quieter than downstairs no complaints from us and the music was on point too. thanks 10 william street we will be back!

awesome restaurant... food, wine and service brilliant! the prices are very reasonable, ranging from about 22-30 for a main. recommend starting with a few share plates!

i would definitely come back for the semolino noodle, squid, pickled pumpkin, xo. the flavour was amazing but looks so different from some of the photos online.

i thought the wine list was very interesting, the menu unique and very tasty and the service was outstanding. i'm surprised this is rated in the mid 3's. i would definitely recommend a saturday lunch here.

the fried chicken panini isn't on the menu but make sure you ask for it. it's wickedly good. to call this a fried chicken burger would be an injustice. you'll find the juiciest thigh fillet coated in crunchy batter dressed in a peach hot sauce and drizzled with smoked mayo. add two ripe slices of tomato, a handful of crisp lettuce and jam it all between two halves of a lightly toasted bun.

well i must say this is a nice place you could go after work. such a comfort relief. take your best friend or the one you love, have a glass of wine and eat a small portion of food. so called happiness.

we ordered two kinds of pasta, just the last two down on the menu (above desserts). i could hardly remember their names but...it's nice. normally pasta at italian restaurant tastes the same, sadly but true. however at this place, you would feel the texture of different pastas, no sticking together or hard to chew. everything is just right. or maybe it's just because this night is so wonderful that i write so much about this place..

very enjoyable. tiny little place but it was packed on a monday evening, especially with no bookings. service was attentive and quick. must order the freshly baked pretzel with whipped bottarga and the parpardelle ragu.

from the same team behind fratelli paradiso in potts point, a storefront nestled in the boutique shopping strips in paddington area has been converted into a small but compact bistro with impressive selection of wine list and interesting italian touch on the menu. . simply decorated with white walls, a wooden counter with couple of bar stools, small and cramped tables, 10 william street, an italian dining hybrid with warm and knowledgeable service from the staff has become our favorite place for catching up with friends, but note that it might not be comfortable if you come in larger group.

the pretzel with whipped bottarga at 10 william st, paddington is a must order but you definitely have to get the tiramisu with ridiculously fluffy layers of coffee soaked lady fingers and creamy mascarpone!

my gf and i came here tonight and when i got here at 5, i had to wait for a table (they didn't open the upstairs area yet), but we got a table near the window and we were able to have s few drinks and relax.

their wine list is extensive but with their wines by the glass, it's limited. still, we both tried their whites, rose and a red and for food we had a few items suggested by the staff. the ox tongue and pappardelle was really nice and their tiramisu is as good as i have read about.

staff were friendly and even when it got really busy they were polite and friendly. i'll be happy to come back for their tiramisu!

this place has been on my list for a really long time. i went with really high expectations because everyone seems to absolutely love this place. and now we love it too. every dish was either really good, great or excellent. the pretzel and whipped bottarga was unbelievable. and they have fantastic wine too. oh and what everyone says about their tiramisu being the best in sydney is true! so good. we now go on a monthly basis.

i had been to a few wine bars before 10 william street such as nearby love tilly devine and felt they were all a bit over-priced, snobbish and pretentious. they place was tiny and didn't bookings.  we couldn't get in straightway so left phone number and waited in the nearby pub. i found the menu confusing - i knew it was italian but could also find hints of japanese. the wine list was really extensive from various regions in italy but very pricey! we mainly wanted to experience the wines so only ordered a few snacks like pretzels.  we had two reds and one while, all very nice.  but wary of the costs, it's not kind of place you could spend all night, drink and eat to your hearts content.  we experienced it, enjoyed it, and moved on.

i cannot fault this place. the food is amazing and the customer service is very attentive. it's a shame they don't take bookings so try to get there early and be prepared to go to the pub for a drink to wait for a table.

i really want to like this place more but it is a bit pretentious, very overpriced, and the staff are not interested in you unless you are buying an expensive bottle of wine.

food portions are tiny for the prices, but its always busy so i must be wrong on this one. i live so close and want to love it but wine library is much much better overall for a cosy night out in paddington
