the one on the promenade..amazing ice cream! sea salt, pineapple ginger must try! better than others here that claim to have gelato! this was true gelato. cake we tried chocolate mousse which wasgoodtoo!

have tried cake and chocolate pakoda.cake lookedgoodbut tasted normal and this 4 rating is only for their chocolate pakoda.white chocolate and milk chocolate is a must try but the cost is on slightly higher side when compared to their shop size.

nice cozy place to get comfortable. awesome desserts to try out, a bit expensive but totally worth it. ambience is quitegoodother than this place is in high demand and hence is crowded at times.

it's a small pretty shop near the cafe xtasi white town branch . the ceiling has little butterflies and the other decor is beautiful too .. the sweets displayed are really beautiful and you would want to eat them all .. the price is on the average side . we tried the chocolate sensation pastry which was prettygood.. the base is a little hard . next we couldn't resist but have the double espresso which was amazing . it's soo creamy .. it is best for coffee and chocolate lovers .. . i loved it . overall if you love chocolates you must pay this place a visit .. and you will love it like i did .

one of the best bakery to visit in pondicherry. their chocolate pakoras are delicious. they have verygoodpastry options.

a nice decent place for dessert, they do not currently offer dine-in, but you can select and take-away. their options keep getting refreshed regularly, for the two days we visited, barring few options rest of the menu was changed. we particularly liked the apple tart and chocolate based soft cake. the liquor chocolates were not impressive though, unlike the liquid/gelly interior, they had mixed it with the chocolate. didn't find it that exciting. overall taste wasgoodfor most options. would recommend at least one visit if you go to pondicherry..

rainbow pastry is supposed to have different flavors for the different layers, instead all the layers tasted the same sickly sweet, no other taste to it. moksha pastry wasgoodbut for rs.179/-, there were hardly 2 bites.

we accidentally stumbled upon zuka w/o checking it's zomato rating thanks to proximity with promenade beach. the dessert section was an eyecatcher.
we settled for coffee, classic french fries and tandoori paneer sandwich. somehow i had entered the place after reading very fancy menu outside but none of that was available.
the spiced hazel coffee was good. had ordered classic french fries for my 3.5 year old but sadly the staff added pepper despite the instructions to not add any spice. tandoori sandwich was very average.
also, took the almond ice cream which was great in taste. i gave a miss to the dessert section.
overallgoodplace to spend time for evening coffee, but very small and service slow. when i asked staff about adding pepper to fries, he showed no apology or regret.

zuka is a chocolatier and one of its kind places. while the concept isgoodand the taste is also fine, i found it overpriced.

the florida truffle and fudge cakes were the worst. truffle was completely made with a low quality compound chocolate with just orange flavored streaks on top. fudge cake had a caramel on top which didn't taste anything like agoodcaramel. the flavoring agents were smelling kinda weird.

tarts were comparitively good. zuka has lost its essence and no longer the same. i'll never visit this place again.

the best hot chocolate i’ve ever had. though the place is small, it feelsgoodto purchase. the milk chocolates re also something to be commended on.

i think zuka is one of the to-go places in pondicherry. 
i went here on a recommendation of a friend. 
she asked us to go here and try the blueberry cheesecake. on the first day when we went, it wasn't available. but still we had some items there. next day when we went, we got the opportunity to try the blueberry cheesecake. well it wasn't asgoodas she described, but was pretty well. however, we had hot chocolate too. and without doubt i can say that it was the best hot chocolate i ever had.
the ambience is okayish really. it's well designed, but hardly 3-4 tables fit in the cafe. there's one big chocolate statue too which really impressed me a lot! 
the reason why i rated this place so low is because of their exorbitantly high prices! i mean seriously!? the amount they are charging doesn't do justice to the quantity at all! the hot chocolate alone which was just of 4-5 sips costed whooping rs.150! it was literally just close to 4-5 sips. the pastries and other items were priced similarly and i don't think its worth it!
zuka really needs to work on it's pricing if it wants to be in the competition. or else it will be thrown out if not did justice to either price or quatity!
