we accidentally stumbled upon zuka w/o checking it's zomato rating thanks to proximity with promenade beach. the dessert section was an eyecatcher.
we settled for coffee, classic french fries and tandoori paneer sandwich. somehow i had entered the place after reading very fancy menu outside but none of that was available.
the spiced hazel coffee was good. had ordered classic french fries for my 3.5 year old but sadly the staff added pepper despite the instructions to not add any spice. tandoori sandwich was very average.
also, took the almond ice cream which was great in taste. i gave a miss to the dessert section.
overall good place to spend time for evening coffee, but very small and service slow. when i asked staff about adding pepper to fries, he showed no apology or regret.

zuka is a chocolatier and one of its kind places. while the concept is good and the taste is also fine, i found it overpriced.

i wanna give this place 💯.
i tried hot chocolate and heaven on earth and bought chocolates from here..
it's one of the best hot chocolate i have ever tasted. and if you are in pondy you should try their hot chocolate.

florida orange chocolate truffle @₹43/-

french caramel fudge cake @₹110/-

the florida truffle and fudge cakes were the worst. truffle was completely made with a low quality compound chocolate with just orange flavored streaks on top. fudge cake had a caramel on top which didn't taste anything like a good caramel. the flavoring agents were smelling kinda weird.

tarts were comparitively good. zuka has lost its essence and no longer the same. i'll never visit this place again.

heaven on earth is the best one in the menu. the other cakes are also amazing but whenever i visit zuka i always make sure to order heaven on earth.

hot chocolate is heaven for chocolate lovers and it is situated in pondicherry... chocolate spoon and chocolate cubes in case your sugar tooth is still craving.. best in town

thier chocolate is so well made. you can definitely pick up anything which has chocolate in it and it will taste good. i didn't like their rainbow cake. anybody who has had theobroma's rainbow cake will be definitely disappointed. but anything with chocolate ij it be it mousse,cake, pastry, chocolate bars❤️❤️
and well how can i forget liquor infused chocolate and cake.🔥 rookie tip - the chocolate and coffee mousse cake can get a litte overpowering if you try to finish it off alone. but if you have a sweet tooth--go ahead!

this place is all about chocolate, one will fall for this place if a chocolate lover. that's not all about this wonderful cafe, it is quite famous and best in town for desserts too, especially cheesecakes. i ordered it's famous hot chocolate, which comes with a chocolate spoon, and a brownie too, uummmm so chocolatty ! am sure, you have already started wondering about chocolate and started craving for it. so, what are you waiting for ? add this to your list, whenever in pondicherry.
