very good! safe to say they are known for their burgers and chili. small building gets packed easily. the food stays with you for a little while but doesn't allgoodthings do that!

good burger,goodservice, nice atmosphere. i’m don’t believe that zip’s really has the best burger in cincinnati. i prefer mine char-broiled! but the zipburger is what it is, a basic large hamburger that you can dress with condiments as you please and add any of a variety of cheeses for fifty cents. cheddar suits me just fine, as does zip’s whenever i’m in the neighborhood. besides, i love the dark wooden bar atmosphere and the friendly service.

zippin' awesome. zip's burgers are some of the best in town, second only to terry's turf club.

definitely try a trainwreck or a girth burger. the saratoga chips have a great bbq sauce with them, so forgo the cost of fries and get the chips.

zip's has agoodbeer selection and i spent my time with mt. caramel and burger, both of which were reasonably priced.

the bar has the "adult" atmosphere (in the back behind saloon doors) and the front has a great family atmosphere.

all hype. i heard so much about zips burgers, so i was super stoked to hightail it over there and try one. it wasnt awful, but it wasnt great. to me, it tasted a lot like frischs big boy for a higher price. there are way better burgers in cincy. try arthurs in hyde park or whack burger in convington instead for a decently pricegoodburger.

best burgers in town! very reasonably priced for how much food you get. it’s gets busy on weekends forgoodreason. never busy during the week.

i rarely write reviews for restaurantsgoodor bad, so it's saying something that i took the time to write one.

went for a late lunch. got a simple cheeseburger ($5.25), fries (2.25), and a small cup of chili. left with a $15 dollar check. do the math, that was $6.50 they charged for a cup of chili where they have a bowl listed for $4.25.

they wouldn't give me a breakdown on check. when i asked for one the guy went back loud as day clearly badmouthing me to another employee for all to hear.

to top it all off, i had been waiting 15 minutes for my check and this is after the rush, so no it wasn't busy. after i received the check i had to ask again after 5 minutes to run my card. ended up making me late to work.

needless to say i'll never be back to pay for over priced over hyped food (i think wendy's is just about as good) and  poor service.

burger wasgoodbut not over whelming in taste nor size as it didn't cover an average bun. saratoga chips and bar-b-que sauce were good. atmosphere is quaint, waitress pleasant and helpful. not necessarily agoodto place with friends. my lunch with a draft beer $15.

never had a bad meal here. love their burgers, mostly because it's agoodclassic not needing anything fancy. love their fries, onion rings, and beer selection. staff is always warm and inviting and caring about the customer being satisfied with their meal.

just average. zips has agoodburger, not great. i don't know how people consider this one of the best in the city. go to terry's turf club and then tell me which is the best in cincinnati.

major disappointment. went to zip's for lunch today, what once use to be a great place is now just horrible and way overpriced.

i ordered a cup of chili and a girth burger with a cup of coffee my bill was $15, "that's crazy".

the chili took 15 minutes to get to the table and the burger took 30 minutes, keep in mind this is on a mon. at 1:30 in the afternoon, the place was not even that busy.

burger was small and dry, not what i remember a zip burger to be, the bun was hard and tasted of refrigerators.

if your going to try to sell a $10 burger a least make sure it's ofgoodquality.

your better of going to steak and shake, at least they put out a great product and it won't cost you $15 for a burger and a side.

zip's which use to be a great place to go for a burger is now just a joke between me and my friends, they charge for a gourmet burger and give you crap !

look, the burgers are good! but so is the chicken caesar sandwich, the bbq pork, the chili, the fries, the saratoga chips, the onion rings... and the service is top notch!!goodbar food, come hungry =] and if your little one wants to make the train whistle blow, just ask!

it's fine. it's not that there's anything wrong with zip's, but if you think this is the best burger in town, you just need to get out more. it's a pleasant, very tgraditional spot withgoodenough food andgoodservice.

this is a great little place with agoodfeel. i love to support small restaurants and this is agoodone. the food i had was good. the burger was tasty and the beer was cold, what's not to like.

i have been to zip's before. it's practically a requirement for cincinnati dining. the place has a lot of charm. it's definitely an old school bar that happens to serve a prettygoodburger. i ordered the regular zip's burger and fries. it was pretty good. this would be most like a burger you would make at your house. or "house burger". flavor was good, cooked well and it was a pretty generous size. i like zip's beer selection and their other menu options are just as good. they make a reallygoodchili here as well. stop in for agoodburger and watch the little train go round and round the bar.
