one of my favorites. i really love zips, i understands its very basic but basic is good.... check em out its pretty good

great "by the book" burger. if a fresh bun, fresh lettuce, tomato, a nicely balanced grease/meat ratio burger, real mayo and a fair price are your thing, it doesn't get any better than zips. if creative culinary treatment is what you're looking for, well, isn't isn't terry's turf club or red robin. it's definitely my favorite bar/restaurant.

very good! safe to say they are known for their burgers and chili. small building gets packed easily. the food stays with you for a little while but doesn't all good things do that!

good burger, good service, nice atmosphere. i’m don’t believe that zip’s really has the best burger in cincinnati. i prefer mine char-broiled! but the zipburger is what it is, a basic large hamburger that you can dress with condiments as you please and add any of a variety of cheeses for fifty cents. cheddar suits me just fine, as does zip’s whenever i’m in the neighborhood. besides, i love the dark wooden bar atmosphere and the friendly service.

ahhhhmazing food! we got a regular zip burger & the “train wreck” —husband said the latter is one of the best burgers he’s ever had! atmosphere was very cool. located in the cutest area.

zippin' awesome. zip's burgers are some of the best in town, second only to terry's turf club.

definitely try a trainwreck or a girth burger. the saratoga chips have a great bbq sauce with them, so forgo the cost of fries and get the chips.

zip's has a good beer selection and i spent my time with mt. caramel and burger, both of which were reasonably priced.

the bar has the "adult" atmosphere (in the back behind saloon doors) and the front has a great family atmosphere.

good, far from great.. zip's bugers are good, but not the best in the city. the burgers are juicy, but dont really have much flavor. my biggest problem with zip's: you can't get bacon on your burger. it isn't the best burger in cincinnati if there isn't bacon, imo.

all hype. i heard so much about zips burgers, so i was super stoked to hightail it over there and try one. it wasnt awful, but it wasnt great. to me, it tasted a lot like frischs big boy for a higher price. there are way better burgers in cincy. try arthurs in hyde park or whack burger in convington instead for a decently price good burger.

best burger in cincinnati!?!. i haven't eaten at quatmans or terry's but have become a zips regular once again! they continue to do it right with great burgers and best restaurant chilli i've ever had. while expensive for a burger place the atmosphere is still a lot of fun, though noisy for my 3yr old on a busy saturday when not getting a booth. he still finishes his burger and loves the train! i would highly recommend zips anytime!

best burgers in town! very reasonably priced for how much food you get. it’s gets busy on weekends for good reason. never busy during the week.

this is the best burger in town. highly recommend. great date place. this place has a hometown feel to it. there is a train the goes around the booths. really like the atmosphere.

i rarely write reviews for restaurants good or bad, so it's saying something that i took the time to write one.

went for a late lunch. got a simple cheeseburger ($5.25), fries (2.25), and a small cup of chili. left with a $15 dollar check. do the math, that was $6.50 they charged for a cup of chili where they have a bowl listed for $4.25.

they wouldn't give me a breakdown on check. when i asked for one the guy went back loud as day clearly badmouthing me to another employee for all to hear.

to top it all off, i had been waiting 15 minutes for my check and this is after the rush, so no it wasn't busy. after i received the check i had to ask again after 5 minutes to run my card. ended up making me late to work.

needless to say i'll never be back to pay for over priced over hyped food (i think wendy's is just about as good) and  poor service.

one of my kids really wanted to go to zip's for a burger.  not a great experience for the following reasons.  i had to ask them to clean the table.  i asked for ketchup because ours was out.  i was brought one that was very greasy on the outside.  gross!  lastly, the bus boys pants were lower than his underwear.  i didn't go there his see his but.  i had the grilled cheese; it was below average.  the fries were good.  server was attentive.  wish i could have went to quatman instead. quatman is definitely cleaner.

burger was good but not over whelming in taste nor size as it didn't cover an average bun. saratoga chips and bar-b-que sauce were good. atmosphere is quaint, waitress pleasant and helpful. not necessarily a good to place with friends. my lunch with a draft beer $15.
