we came based on the reviews, thefoodwas not very tasty and the coffee was average.

the atmosphere is cool and it looked promising but was disappointing

very friendly service, greatfoodand perfectly made coffee. i went for the "lil zip" brekkie and the portion was definitely not little!!! i had no intention of finding out what big zip would look like.

poor attitude from waitress on entering the cafe. ordered 2 coffees, 3 breakfasts. thefoodwas delicious but both coffees were burnt. returned 1 coffee, waitress questioned me. gave us another 1 which was really nice but waitress' attitude was still poor. i am a local that is usually very fond of zippys but today i felt very disappointed and won't be returning for a while.

lovely ambience, great staff and customer service. i highly recommend their blat! it's just amazing i couldn't fault it. coffee is absolutely great as well. if you're visiting rotorua and looking for a place that's affordable yet offers greatfoodgo to zippy's. every dollar is worth it!

bit of an institution here in rotorua. staff are friendly and professional. thefoodis standard cafe fare and very enjoyable. there is a long list of bagel combos available although i have never selected those.
good coffee. not a bad breakfast spot.

been here about 10 times over a 3week stay in rotorua. i was never disappointed with the coffee or service. a friend got an iced coffee which she thought would be an icey frappe type but it was with icecream, cream and marshmallows. simple misunderstanding.foodfriends have ordered always was well presented, fresh and fairly tasty. well recommended. thank you guys

yep 5 stars and totally worth every one of em! this place is fantastic. great coffee, excellentfoodand fantastic service in a relaxed setting. i have been here maybe a dozen times over the last few years and have never found anything to complain about. love it.

this place has to have the best coffee, and the best service in rotorua. after spending the day mountain biking in the redwood forest, we always stop in at zippys. i having been travelling to rotorua at least once a month for about 9 years, and there are other places i have tried, but none match the zippys experience. greatfoodtoo, lots of it, and at a reasonable price. sorry i don't know their names (i should by now!) but the blonde lady who makes the coffee, and the "duuude" with the tattoos who serves us are awesome!!
