zaza fine salad + wood-oven pizza co.

last year i spent two weeks in italy and ate pizza of some type almost every day. not once did i find a better pizza than the amazing pizza you get at zaza. my favorite is the parella, but i have become a regular and can recommend many of them as top-notch. salads are fresh and large enough to share. gelato is freshly made and delicious one of my favorite local spots.

good food for a low price. the food at zaza's is always good, i'm not a fan of oven pizza and even i like their pizza. the prices are moderate and the salad proportions are huge. the staff is sometimes odd, but other than that the place is great and the atmosphere is great too. i love the loft.

great times. pizza is great, service is acceptable and it is affordable. nice place.

love it!. can't find a bigger, fresher salad anywhere in town! it is crowded, so i recommend going early or late for lunch or calling in a to-go order - if you have to wait, it is absolutely worth it. have had pizza there twice & enjoyed it too. also, gelato is to die for - makes for a perfect light dessert!

pizza. i've had pizza at zaza's a few times and there is a lot of room for improvement. the salads look really good, but i haven't tried them. really nice environment.

fun atmosphere, great gelato, troubling pizza. we always enjoy this place, but it' usually for gelato after eating somewhere else. their pizza topping ingredients are top notch, but their crust sucks - it is a virtually non-existant limp excuse to transport otherwise great toppings. i know pizza crust is a very personal subjective thing, but i cannot imagine anyone thinking they have great crust.

amazing!. i've been twice now in the past month and i have no idea why i haven't tried this place sooner. it's fabulous!

the first time i had one of their 'make your own' salads. they must have over 100 ingredients to choose from and everything is fresh and delicious. i had the honey-mustard vinaigrette on a bed of romaine lettuce with kalamata olives, red onions, and i can't remember what else i put on there. as i said, there must have been eight different cheeses to choose from, 5 different meats etc. the dressings were housemade and out of this world.

the second time i went, i had to try one of the pizzas from the wood burning brick oven. the temperture is so high in the oven that your pizza is done in about 3-5 minutes. i had the margharita pizza and it was melt in my mouth perfect. i can't wait to try other toppings.

i will definitely be back many times.

the place was a mad house when i went in, but in a good way. it is a high energy place with great salads. i didn't try the pizza but the salads are huge.

it's okay, not much more. definitely a place more about atmosphere than food (though the gelato is well worth it). i find it hard to comprehend how people enjoy a salad that wouldn't take much effort themselves to make, especially when this place runs out of ingredients as often as they do. hell, i saw the dude who prepared my salad one day two hours later at the kroger right by grabbing bagged mixed greens. so yeah, nothing too unique.

best service in town. i enjoy zaza once to twice a week as my office is a stones throw from the old heights theater. it wasnt until the other night that i went in for dinner with my wife. we were a bit put off at first as there was a line to the door, however, we made it through the entire line in underneath 10 minutes. we then had to sit at the pizza station as there were no seats in the restaurant. we had a blast! we watched a very gregarious and exceedingly friendly young man make pizza after pizza while talking to us about his new young son. he was indicative of the overall service that i have come to love art zazas. he was clean, friendly, fast and fun to watch. everyone should give this restaurant a chance, and sit at the pizza station when you do. you'll have fun, i promise.

love the salads and piza uaually. but had a vegetable and goat cheese sandwich tonight and it was terrible- hot spicey,too salty and oily. won't have that again. otherwise love zazas.

delicious salads & pizzas. we haven't found any other place quite like this in little rock. the za za salad is a great mix of greens, fruit, nuts and an excellent dressing. i liked the potato rosemary pizza (the lemon really makes it). my husband and the kids liked the bbq chicken. the iced tea was perfect-crushed ice is my fave. for dessert, watch the kids play guitar hero or try some gelato if you have room.

zaza is the best!!. zaza is my favorite place to eat in little rock. their salads are so fresh and every bite is perfect. you can't go wrong with anything off the salad bar. the pizzas are to die for! they have the perfect amount of toppings and sauce and are a great size. and you of course have to save room for gelato because it is really something special.

perfect for my diet and the kids love the pizza and the game console upstairs.
