not real greek food!. i usually don't waste time writing reviews, but the food i had today at zaina was absolutely horrible!! to begin, the young woman at the counter struggled in taking my order and that immediately caused concern. next, i observed the cook warming the gyro meat and pitas up in the microwave. and finally, when i received my food, the gyro meat was hard and dry; the pita bread was completely stale; the "greek salad" was coated in some sort of indescribable dressing that was red and bitter; and the hummus was simply inedible!! in all fairness, i may have higher standards for food than most midwesterners since i'm from nyc, but i can say with certainty that the food at zaina would never be consumed by people who have ever eaten true greek ormediterraneanfood before! if you want greek food that's actually edible and good (for the midwest), go to mr. gyro in overland park or to themediterraneanrestaurant in the river market...but don't bother eating at zaina!
