wow! so fresh and tasty! we had the schwarma chicken, schwarma beef, tabouli, and pistachio baklava. this was probably the best mediterranean food i've ever had. i want to go back tomorrow. :-). seriously...this place is a gem! (note: it is a casual restaurant. not a fancy date destination.)

awesome food and service!. love this place. have been several times and it is consistently good. my husband andi have become regulars because we both crave it on a weekly basis. atmosphere isn't anything special but it doesn't need to be when the food and customer service is this good. they also deliver which is great for downtown where good delivery is hard to come by...

great food for the low prices. i enjoyed everything i have eaten here. i especially love the greek salad. the dressing is a prefect blend of savory and bitter, the rice is seasoned well and i always finish it. the hummus is made on the premises and makes the stuff in the stores seem like shredded cardboard. i go anytime i can. it is small and not glamorous but the food is well worth it.

i got the beef biryani, and it came with hummus and pita slices. it was a lot of food! it was also delicious, and i will definitely be back to try the other things on the menu! just a heads up though...don't trust the directions link, as it takes you to their old location off walnut. new location is on grand across the street from jimmy john's.

super delicious. everyone in there was super friendly and helpful. went around 1 on a tuesday, there was no wait at all and once we ordered we just sat down. food was out quick and it was all so good.

amazing food. some rare items that aren't on the usual mediterranean menus. friendly, fast, and delicious. only open until 8, so get in there early.

this is a nice little mediterranean diner in the middle of downtown.  i went for lunch with some friends from work, and i was pleasantly surprised.  i had the chicken plate with mushrooms and an order of falafel.  the chicken and rice were tasty, but could have had more flavor.  the salad dressing was different and i loved it.  it had a little spice to it and was unlike anything i've had before.  the hummus was very tasty, but the pita wasn't warm like i like it.  the falafel was good, but wasn't quite as flavorful as i've had elsewhere.  the prices were reasonable, and the mint tea was excellent (i filled my glass with ice and drank it like iced tea).  overall, this is a great little place to have a healthy lunch for a decent price.

yum!. the last time i had spanakopita this good, it was made by little old ladies in a greek orthodox church. i am seriously considering running over to this place to get a couple of orders to take home on the plane. and some more baklava. good food and great prices!

fan-freakin-tastic. this hidden spot is a gem in the concrete jungle of kansas city. everything we had was so good and i have been dreaming of the baba ghanoush since the moment after we finished our meal. i can't wait to have this again!

excellent gyro. the chicken gyro is amazing, and the baklava is rich and worth every penny. a must try for any mediterranean food lover.

mediocre. the food was nothing to rave about. it seemed to be rather low quality and bland. nothing exciting. the lack of a public restroom is inconvenient. on the plus side, the staff is friendly.

this place is amazing!! it's by far the best i've had. it's always a treat when my husband surprises me with it. highly recommend it! the chicken gyro and hummus is very good.

plate licking good. i went there for the first time for lunch today. to say this place is amazing is an extreme understatement. i've never been disappointed when a meal was over until today. i would have licked the plate clean if i thought people wouldn't stare at me.
