yazu - pan asian supper club

finally a lovely place in the middle of mumbai, namely andheri lokhandwala. this place is extravagant and slightly ritzy and the crowd here is pretty dressy, page 3 types prim & proper. the place was packed on valentines eve and we got probably the only last table that was available so it’s already on the popular charts in and around. the ambience is comfortable and warm. the service is super quick and no time is wasted whatsoever. u order the food and it’s on your table in 5 mins. so hats off to the chef and servers for this. we loved all the food here and it’s definitely the kind of food i have recently fallen in love with, pan asian. this cuisine just makes me so happy.


the food and drinks were all perfect and the use of exotic vegetables and sauces was apparent.

1. in mocktails we tried the orange and strawberry mojito. it was a perfect mix of sweet sour and chilled. we also tried the ginger & kaffir lime mule. fantastic and refreshing. loved the pink ginger flavour.

2. in small plates we asked for 4 dishes. the turnip cake, it’s a must have here. just give it a try. we liked it a lot. this was followed by some mushroom dimsums and they were delicious. the dips served on the table complimented the dimsums really well. then came the california sushi and this sushi is amazing. perfect plating and perfect wasabi along with the soy dip n pickled ginger to go with this. a perfect meal for me. u can choose 4/8 pieces as per your choice. the last small plate was the smokey devils cottage cheese with white onion and chilly sauce. a lovely dish which can be eaten as a main too with some rice or noodles. the cottage cheese balls tossed in that lovely sauce was just brilliant. it was super soft and fresh. a nice tangy sweetspicysauce.

3. in the maincourse we tried 4 dishes again. thai green curry with lots of vegetables made it taste like heaven and we also asked for another curry made of baby pok choy and peruvian asparagus with pumpkin sauce. simply wow factor!!!!! these curries blended really well with jasmine flavoured garlic rice and some haka noodles. what a perfect meal this turned out to be!!!


4. in the dessert the tried the chocolate soufflé. it’s an absolute must have. melt in the mouth and gooey. even the vanilla ice cream is of another level altogether. so do try.


i am sure to be back here as i found this meal almost perfect and pretty tempting enough to pull me back here soon. definitely a much needed addition in this part of town. i’m so glad places like yazu have represent the cuisine which is slowly catching the trend of the times today.

lovely ambience, fantastic food! almost everything that we tried was good! favourites - veg mexican roll (sushi), vegspicykimchi fried rice & the hot chocolate soufflé😋

absolutely splendid asian food! 😍❤️ took a takeout of wok tossed hakka noodles andspicycottage cheese to have at home with family and the taste of this combo is surreal! the noodles were very flavourful and the spices were yummy! i would highly recommend trying the food out here. i didn't have time for dine in, but will surely try it soon 😇😇

it was the first time i was visiting yazu, and with someone who was new to the city. the service and food were both excellent. waris suggested the best dishes as per our preference and ensured that we were happy with all the dishes that we ordered. cheung fun, cured watermelon roll,spicykorean noodles, and chocolate souffle- each better than the next. the place is slightly expensive but delivers in quality and makes the time and money spent worth it. do try it for yourself.

yazu is good place for having pan asian food. recently ordered prawns inspicysauce, it was amazing in taste. made really well.

the ambiance i must say it’s awesome. the lights , the music is superb. specially love the light on the table.

1. butter garlic sichuan tiger 🍤 prawn
2.spicy lamb (highly recommended)
3. burnt garlic fried 🍚 rice
4.spicytuna 🍣 sushi

the food was delicious i mean it was worth it. the quantity was the best part of it. the presentation and the service was great.

i was craving for asian food and hence, i ordered at home🏡🥢

2) vegspicyramyun noodles

loved the packaging (it was intact and food was in place) & the taste was really good. will order again for sure!!

the food overall was very unworthy of the ambiance. the taste was average and in called for. we ordered prawns black pepper which was the only savour , crispy prawns shauna fung in which prawns seemed a bit over fried ,spicykorean ram yun noodles which was not at allspicyand too oily , all of which tasted very average chinese joint types. and then there was the nutty cocktail which was ok. so all in all very sad and my cocktail arrived very late aswell. i have to say the background sound is unreasonably loud and not at all coherent with the theme and ambience..!!! hope they take the feedback and make some improvements

i had recently order from yazu. the food was absolutely delicious and lip smacking. yazu has become my go to place for anything asian. i was extremely impressed with the delivery, it was on time and packed well. the containers were spill proof and chopsticks came along with it. the food was fabulous - my favourite was yazu style chicken. i would also recommend trying -
khao pad bai kraprow chicken
spicy ramen chicken noodles
the noodles were nice andspicyand rice had a good fish sauce flavour. definitely ordering from here again!

tried ordering lunch from here . neat packaging. orderedspicycottage cheese and chicken &egg chak hao rice. chak hao rice was something new which i tried for the first time. had a very different texture and flavor. good amount of chicken pieces in it. had a presence of black pepper in it as well. the cottage cheese pieces were soft and fresh on the inside. the sauce in which it was tossed was a bitspicyand garlicky as well.

talking about the place it is too good.
i have orderedspicyramen noodles and veg burnt garlic rice from this place,the taste ofspicyramen was too good with lots of veggies and perfect spiceness with amazing sauce.
the burnt garlic rice included corn,capsicum, onion and many other veggies and the schezwan was the best complementing it🤩🤩
overall loved it

yazu is one of the best pan asians restaurant i have tried multiple dishes from here and this place has always impressed me
the dishes likespicychicken bao their dimsum’s and clay pot chicken are fantastic
definitely ordering again from here
