there is nothing wrong with being predictable, especially forlunchspecials. you've got a limited amount of time and you want to make sure that yourlunchhour is not wasted.
in the medical center area, yaya's on callaghan is right on target. place your order from the long list oflunchspecials and in less than 5" your soup is served -- and it's good soup, too -- a clear broth with a bright flavor of lemongrass and a hint of scallion. there is a large helping of rice at the bottom of the bowl, too. the standards are offered and can include chicken, pork, beef, tofu or shrimp (shrimp is extra). alllunchorders include tea and the obligatory spring roll. the restaurant is spacious, pleasant and the service is prompt and friendly.

awesome thai food !. yaya's recently opened at callaghan and ih10. i have been there several times forlunchand the food is wonderful. great authentic thai cuisine. very attentive staff. warm and friendly atmosphere. i especially like the green curry with squid or shrimp.

the owner, yaya, and her sister are especially nice people. they always make me feel welcomed and as if i am part of the family.

if you want some great thai food and an enjoyable dining experience, be sure to go to yaya's !

was in the area running errands so i decided to check urbanspoon for any good restaurants nearby. ya ya's was rated pretty high so i decided to give it a try. very glad i did. i ordered the chicken pad thai and hot and sour soup to go and was surprised to have fresh everything tasted when i finally arrived home. my pad thai could of been a bit spice here but that's my fault for not asking for it like that. the soup was miles beyond the bland one i had just 2 days ago at wok inn. i went just afterlunchand the place was dead but the waitress was very helpful even though it was a to go order and i wouldnt be tipping very much. ill definitely be coming back.

delicious. absolutely wonderful! i enjoyed the blackboardlunchspecial, duck and red curry $ 8.99. what a deal! started with a light broth soup. entree: large portion of duck, crispy, flavorful.. yummm. red curry and vegetables in a bowl, very delicious. portion of white rice.
restaurant is clean and inviting. waitstaff are very friendly.
perfect place for conversation with a friend. i will definately be back. marked as a favorite!

i enjoyed the green curry with chickenlunchspecial. before our meal, we were served a cup of soup, a clear broth with bits of fresh veggies. the chicken curry, a rich curry sauce with a hint of coconut milk, lots of chicken, eggplant, red bell pepper, string beans, and shredded bamboo shoots was delicious. the crunchy spring roll was perfectly fried. portions are very generous. try yaya's, you won't be disappointed.

yaya's = delicious!!!. i was impressed with the food, service, cleanliness and the ablility to be able to hear each other speak. the food was freshly made to my liking and a lot of it. could not eat it all so i havelunchfor tomorrow. the owner & chef "yaya" sonya buckman came out to greet me and the staff made me feel right at home. tonya the waitress was very attentive and delivered excellent customer service with a smile. willis the manager made sure i was taken care of and even tempted me to try dessert, which was a heavenly delight. go stop by, have a bite and enjoy being catered to at "yaya's"!

top notch and priced right. wow, what an amazing lunch. the callaghan store is spotless, staff is kind and knows the menu. i asked several questions, before placing mylunchorder, of crispy duck curry. the waitress knew a solid answer to all my questions. my food was served promptly on a clean, well dressed place. the duck was crispy as described and the curry sauce was spot on. the entire meal was $8.99 which is a steal for duck! i'll return frequently. i've eaten at many thai establishments, this ranks at the top.

yaya's=yumyum. just tried yaya's callaghan location and i'm already looking forward to my next visit. it's located in a semi-sketchy shopping center, but don't let that prevent you from going inside. it was a very nice place, clean and fairly large. customer service was awesome and the food is even better. wanted something light forlunchso i chose the shrimp and avacado salad and a cup of the tom yum. the salad was large and included very fresh ingredients. the soup is addicting... so yes, i ate every last piece, but i don't have that 'gross/weighed down by a ton of food' feeling. this is a goodlunchoption for anyone working in the medical center.

greatlunchspot. a complete do-over from the previous tenant (madras pavillion) results in a smaller, tastefully decorated place.lunchspecials (m-sat) were great, with a bit more variety than i'm used to at the other medical center area thai spots-green curry, panang curry, pad-won-sen were all great. looking forward to further sampling from their menu on a repeat visit.
