enough good things cannot possibly be said about this restaurant!!! a brief summary would be to say...the freshest ingredients, best server (tanya) and good atmosphere made for an amazingly delightful thai food experience. my family and i were beyond impressed. we have eaten thai food throughout the u.s. and this is undoubtedly one of the best! help them get their 2nd location going and pay them a visit...ask for tanya!! so much for my 'brief' summary! enjoy.

lots of parking, no wifi, great and friendly service. yaya's thai restaurant is kid's friendly and large enough to accommodate large groups. the kids loved the cheese spring rolls and the shrimp in coconut. first we were served an egg soup (creamy egg yolk flavour thick and rich with shredded omelet). the shrimp coconut was delicious, a little oily but sweet, coconuty and delicious.

the special of the day, fried tofu and bok choy was a little salty, but needed since the tofu was blend. the bok choy were delicious, still a little salty. i mixed the rice in the remaining sauce and the salty taste was gone and again.... delicious.

the green curry was interesting with cucumbers and bamboo shoots. spicy for some, but i enjoyed it.

i would go there again just for the shrimp and coconut appetiser.

pad thai again. was decent. had beef with medium spice. noodles were only slightly over cooked and sauce was present but not too heavy. would definitely get it again.

spring roll was more crisp than filling and was meh.

mush. my husband and i went to this restaurant hoping to have a great time, but were really disappointed with the quality of the food. we had the pad se ew and drunken noodles. both dishes had gross, mushy noodles and the beef tasted off. the beef was even an off color. needless to say we left and would not go back to this restaurant and will advise others to do so as well. we have had plenty of thai food and no one has ever told us that mushy noodles was the norm except for this place.

my favorite thai restaurant!!. hands down, best in town! i've checked out several thai restaurants here in town and yaya's takes the cake!

very personable and friendly staff! tanya, oi, and yaya herself are awesome women and i am pleased to give them my frequent business!

their chef knows his way around the kitchen. i've tried several items and have enjoyed every last one of them! if you are short on time, you can run in, order a quick lunch, you're served a delicious soup of the day and your meal arrives quickly. the place is clean and offers a very nice ambiance! i come here at least once a week, and i'm not afraid to admit it, there have been a few weeks i come 5-6 times a week!

these folks work very hard and take great care in their food, flavor, presentation and all around experience....you can taste it in every bite!

there is nothing wrong with being predictable, especially for lunch specials. you've got a limited amount of time and you want to make sure that your lunch hour is not wasted.
in the medical center area, yaya's on callaghan is right on target. place your order from the long list of lunch specials and in less than 5" your soup is served -- and it's good soup, too -- a clear broth with a bright flavor of lemongrass and a hint of scallion. there is a large helping of rice at the bottom of the bowl, too. the standards are offered and can include chicken, pork, beef, tofu or shrimp (shrimp is extra). all lunch orders include tea and the obligatory spring roll. the restaurant is spacious, pleasant and the service is prompt and friendly.

wonderfully addictive. i am a travel nurse who is motivated/drawn to new places by the quality of the food it offers. i stumbled upon this place, yaya's, about two months ago. i now enjoy the panang curry w/ beef at least one a week. this dish is amazing!! i have not tried anything else on the menu, yet. also, there is a nice waitress named tonya who always greets me with a smile. i am trying to get up the courage to try another dish; but, why? the panang curry is wonderful and addictive! a must try

awesome thai food !. yaya's recently opened at callaghan and ih10. i have been there several times for lunch and the food is wonderful. great authentic thai cuisine. very attentive staff. warm and friendly atmosphere. i especially like the green curry with squid or shrimp.

the owner, yaya, and her sister are especially nice people. they always make me feel welcomed and as if i am part of the family.

if you want some great thai food and an enjoyable dining experience, be sure to go to yaya's !

was in the area running errands so i decided to check urbanspoon for any good restaurants nearby. ya ya's was rated pretty high so i decided to give it a try. very glad i did. i ordered the chicken pad thai and hot and sour soup to go and was surprised to have fresh everything tasted when i finally arrived home. my pad thai could of been a bit spice here but that's my fault for not asking for it like that. the soup was miles beyond the bland one i had just 2 days ago at wok inn. i went just after lunch and the place was dead but the waitress was very helpful even though it was a to go order and i wouldnt be tipping very much. ill definitely be coming back.
