yakski barbeque

i am a fan of yakski. i come and dine at their capitol branch at least once a week. i couldn't just resist their barbeque, chicken backbone and of course the sauce. there's really something about their sauce! but last week, it was my firsttimeto dine at their branch in it park. ambiance and space wise, it's a lot better from their capitol branch. and the staff were even more accommodating too! no doubt, they never ran out of customers despite the infamous sugbo mercado located just beside them.

i’ve just tried eating here this year although i’ve already thought of being here when it first opened. the place is spacious and there are a variety of grilled foods to choose from. waitingtimeis just fine, and the sauce, it never disappoints. it’s the one that keeps me from being back to this place. however, they need to work with their comfort room, it is untidy.

they said 30mins waitingtimeand we agree. after 30+ mins we follow up our order. and guess what, they did not even bother to tell us that our order is on the way. no information about our order what so ever, and we waited more than 30mins already. i find them very rude, that is why i stormed off and forget about my order. since then i promise to never eat here. very poor customer service.

best bbq so far. the place is refreshing and perfect for casual dining. totally worth the price. the servingtimequite the avarage. you'll need to try everything as almost everything is a must try.

this branch is huge. the ambiance is airy but the servingtimeis a bit longer that what we are accustomed for, like in their capitol branch. we had dinner several times here and all instances were the same. the orders arrive a bit late than expected. it happened at dinnertimearound 8pm, and twice at early dinnertimearound 5pm. maybe the waiting period in the late afternoon was due to the cookingtimebecause that's when they start to pre-cook their bbq. anyway, the taste is always great at yakski.

as you see i only had one picture of my food bec i was so busy eating. hahahaha promise, these barbecues are sinfully delicious 😭 you could order more rice bec admit it, you can't just let go of these babies w one rice?! like how th?
and sorry i wasn't able to take note of the prices. boyfie takes care of the bills all thetime🤑
but you can go there and see for yourself. they also have grilled fishes for those who don't eat meat.
ps: it's better to eat there w bare hands :p sshh.

food : yakski, in our opinion, is probably the best go to place in the city to satiate your barbecue cravings. they serve everything that's charcoal grilled --- pork barbecue, pork belly, chorizo, hotdog, chicken leg, chicken breast, chicken liver-gizzard, chicken skin and tuna belly. unlike most barbecue places where you're served the regular dicer sauce or vinegar and soy sauce as barbecue dips, what makes yakski remarkable is their special sauce which comes in original or spicy.

ambiance : we like how spacious their branch is in it park, lahug. their open air dining set-up is very inviting. the ceiling is appropriately high which allows proper circulation of air. yakski also has grilling station enclosed in clear glass so customers can see the grillers in action.

service : another worth commending in yakski is how they put high importance in hygiene. you would see their crew and food servers with mouthpiece and hair nets preparing your orders. waitingtimeis usually 10-15mins. understandable because meat should be freshly grilled.
