if i were totally honest, i want to get excited about such a high piled pizza.  yes they have bunches and bunches of toppings.  they taste pretty good.  but is it worth all the grease.  or how about the little piece of round cardboard they put the pizza on that your pizza sticks too, and you cannot get it off?  now, since you mentioned cardboard, yes i agree, thecrustis like wet cardboard.  i called and asked them if they could make a softercrustbecause i just has my teeth pulled, they said no, they order it already made.  it comes in cardboard sheets.   i might order again, 1 or 2 a year (maybe) but it isn't all that.  the people that give excellent reports, i think you just get excited thinking you have found something.  believe me, you haven't.

great little pizza joint. i loved the abundant quality toppings. if you like a loaded (heavy) pizza this is the place for you. if you like those thin crispcrustpizzas you will be disappointed. i was looking for a pizza loaded with toppings and i was not disappointed.

fresh and hot!. i don't visit wanamaker too often but i was out to visit a friend and i had already tried new bethel ordinary and she recommended this place so i picked up pizza and sticks for carry out. when i try new pizza places i stick to my usual which is onions and extra cheese. as you can see from the pictures they really do load up on the cheese!! :) they do not skimp on their toppings at all, meat, veggie or just cheese! i really liked the flavor of the pizza sauce. thecrustwas good too. not to chewy or flimsy. the breadsticks satisfied me too. i got to chat a little with the owner when i picked up my order. very friendly and easy to talk to. it has a nice, no-frills inviting atmosphere. would definitely return!

not recommended. i own a bar and grill and i had some customers recommend this. my family and i went to try it and i do not recommend! the pizza is piled high with toppings, hardly any sauce and thecrustis tough. the wings are not like the picture, they do not roll them in sauce and the nacho chesse is served cold. not to mention they have no air conditioning with doors and window open. this is definetly not a dine in restaurant! they don't even glasses or water, only canned pop. needless to say i was very disappointed and will never be returning.

big pizza!. i like all types of pizza. this type of pizza is the "very heavy on the toppings" pizza that focuses on a quantity of toppings rather than thecrustor sauce (what i call "bar pizza"). i had a 16" with sausage, ham, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and jalepenos. the sauce was adequate both in quantity and taste but did not taste like it was made in house. thecrustwas very plain and didn't taste like it was fresh made. the toppings, especially the meat, are very plentiful. personally, i would like fresh mushrooms but these tasted canned. however, the overall mix of flavors was pretty good and i enjoyed the pizza. the jalepenos, though canned, were pretty crisp and had a lot of pop. this pizza would definitely satisfy some hearty appetites as it weighed about 10 pounds. they cut into 8 pieces so if you have many eaters, you may want to have it cut into more pieces.

i would say this pizza was better than the last one i had from the ordinary, which wasn't very good.

my favorite pizza still remains bazbeaux on mass ave.

update: since my original review i've had a pizza from gallaghers and another pizza from xtrodinary. the xtrodinary pizza was clearly better.

the best pizza in town. finally someone opened the perfect pizza place,if you like alot of toppings on a greatcrustfor a reasonable price,this is the place.like the other review says a large deluxe has to weigh close to 5 lbs.for 20 bucks,no way you can find anything near this anywhere in these parts.the staff is friendly and the service is fast.forget all the others give them a call,i will be later on today.
