we had the crawfish tonight. i was afraid it wasn’t going to begoodbut it was the right amount of spice! i forgot our server’s name but she was lovely. belle was out hostess and she was just as great:) even the bus boys are friendly! miss behaving drink was to die for, will be back very soon for one of those!

i've been twice and will go again.goodfood & fast service. the tinted windows keep the sun out which makes it a little dark but keeps it cool.

i was getting on urbanspoon to write about my dinner experience last night, until the words horrible caught my eye. i've been coming to this place once every other week for about three years. the first time i came here was with my co workers and i ate a seafood potato, it was so delicious, i've been hooked ever since. lately i've been coming with my family in the evenings who all enjoy it. never once would i ever describe the food horrible! maybe sometimes the food takes a while but it's so worth it and i don't mind since they are making it all to order.
anyway, keep up thegoodwork. we enjoyed our dinner tonight and looks like all the other 200+ likes and 25 reviews did as well.

yummy!. i dont do reviews but i just had the best seafood potato in town! i work around the area and im so glad to finally have a place that serves something i enjoy for a reasonable price!

food was very good! fast and friendly service. shrimp tacos were awesome! waitress was very informative on the menu items. overall a verygoodexperience.

ate at bar one night after working lsu football game for 12 hours.

kind of a weird vibe in the place. food wasgoodbut not necessarily memorable.

might hit them again maybe for lunch but most likely always at the bar.

good food,goodmenu,goodatmosphere but very slow wait staff on a day that wasn't busy. outside seating is nice. a little expensive for what you get.

me and my girlfriend decided to try this place for a total of 3 times , considering my family has multiple restaurants here in baton rouge i think everyone should give 3 chances to be fair . i like the outside of the building very nice easy to enter and leave i think it's agoodlocation . as for as the food i tried a sandwich ,pasta and had a salad all were very bland (no flavor ) chimes has more spices in their food which isn't saying a lot . staff was very attentive which is why i think if they look into flavoring their food they could do very well . goodlocationgoodservice but bland food which can be corrected so i hope they look into this . best of wishes to them .

so i went here for a birthday dinner, & i was impressed! the ambience is great, the staff was nice, & the waitress took great care of us, so we enjoyed ourselves while waiting for everyone to show up. then the appetizers came out and the crab dip over the house potato chips was delicious, & the sauce they use for the onion rings was unique & tasty. we ordered entrees & i chose the rooster because i love agoodburger with interesting toppings. it came out and was served with chips, & my husband got coleslaw so i tried some of it, too. i wasn't impressed with the coleslaw- the sauce lacked any real flavor- but the chips were good, if a little over salted. the burger was disappointingly overcooked & dry in spite of there being avocado and an egg on it! oh well, i thought, i must've just picked the wrong thing from their menu & i'll try again next time with the red fish or the crab legs like my friend got. they really enjoyed their meal. then i got home and went to bed. a couple of hours later, i woke up and had to run to the bathroom to throw up & my body's been purging itself of everything in it all night. i can't 100% verify that it was willie's, but i don't have any other explanation. i won't be back to try any other entrees- not after the consequences of last night.

we didn't receive a great experience!! we were seated immediately but after ordering our drinks, we waited a long time to order our food. we finally place our order & i'm told that the entire section of the menu called the "smokehouse" section will not available until next week!! that would have been nice to hear before i decided i wanted the ribs. so now i'm scrambling to pick another item as my husband places his. i order pasta and was told that it comes with a salad. at one point, i look to my husband & question him about my salad. the food finally comes out and i'm given my salad at the same time as my pasta!! terrible timing. the food overall wasgoodand seasoned perfectly. although i asked for extra dressing when i ordered my pasta, it never came and i had to ask the waitress for it again!! our waitress rarely came to check on us and i never received a refill for my iced tea.

best cajun in br. this spot is the best place to go for cajun food. huge portions, diverse menu, food comes out super hot and fresh.goodstaff. they even freeze their beer glasses for you. better than chimes, parrains, laignappe, etc. go here!!!
order the saints nation poboy or bayou salad!

decided to try something new. my husband and i were looking for somewhere new to eat while in baton rouge. the reviews weregoodfor this place so we decided to give it a try. we're so glad we did. food was great. i had the seafood potato and he had the cheesesteak. also had onion rings. everything was delicious. we will return.

just ate there. sweet staff, clean resturant, and damngoodpo-boys!!! gumbo was thick and not very tasty and the toadstools were cold, the cream cheese cajun stuffing was, sorry to say, gross...po-boys was definitely worth the stop.

horrible!. we ate here last week after hearing about howgoodthe food is. sadly, disappointed. it was horrible! everyone at our table was served cold food. they took a few entrees back to "reheat." they were obviously placed in a microwave. i had fish and "reheated" fish is just gross. my and my husband's entree was bland and flavorless. entrees were way overpriced for what we received. i ordered catfish and am pretty sure i was served tilapia. it was really really bad. hopefully they were just having an off-night but i definitely will not be back.

a hole-in-the-wall place with surprisinglygoodfood. the crawfish étouffée was rich, creamy and had a nice kick. the crawfish were cooked perfectly. the shrimp and grits were also excellent. the place is small and has a quaint, neighborhood feel. there is an area for the kids to write on the walls and floor with chalk. we will definitely be back next time we are in baton rouge!

first time today with my dad and it was pretty good. the breading on this fish is a little different but ok. the cheese logs are big and prettygoodas well. will be back when i'm near the area
